Well that's a feelsbad. I played Demon's Souls after Dark Souls so it wan't my first Souls game but I enjoyed it quite a lot. The atmosphere in that game is something else indeed. This game is a gem to be remembered, one of the best games of its generation. Well, you can still play it of course but it's gonna feel weird without all the player ghost wandering around (there probably aren't many of them at this point but still) or bloodstains and messages etc.
It's still a shit change that reeks of greed. But then again the whole Destiny franchise is meant to milk people dry with minimal effort so I guess it's only fitting.
@nadsat-77: There will be more varied missions (if not in 3.0 then later when they flesh it out more) but Star Citizen is an MMO so naturally multiplayer will be a big focus. If you want a story driven solo adventure then wait for Squadron 42. It's set in the same universe (takes place a few years before Star Citizen) and is a singleplayer game.
