@Mogan: It's alright, it's just really basic right now. You go to a station, get a gun, and look for someone to shoot which can be pretty boring sometimes because that station is usually empty. For that reason it's not really worth spending much time with it atm until things get fleshed out more. Or at least the station was empty before this patch anyway, I haven't tried it in 2.2 yet. Maybe things have changed with the new bounty system and the increase in players/server.

It does have a lot of potential though. I wish they'd release Star Marine already so we could have a dedicated arena to play in but they decided to hold that off until all the fps mechanics are in.

Pay to win what? Friendly reminder that over 90% of the people in the game will be npc's and there will be a pvp slider so you can set it to avoid other players if you want. Not to mention we're talking about two games here, no p2w possible in SQ42.

And tell me what's the big difference between a pre-order and backing a game? In both cases you're paying for a game that isn't out yet and may or may not end up being shit. One argument you could have made is that a crowdfunded game might not raise enough money but considering how much CIG has made this argument no longer holds any value. Would it really help you sleep better at night if they called it a "pre order", even though it's essentially the same at this point?

You're basically the same as most other haters. Baseless speculation and/or lack of patience (and usually some ignorance). This game has the potential to be revolutionary and take the industry by storm. You don't even have to care about space sims or like the crowd funding mondel that they use. But if you give even the slightest **** about this industry that is currently full of last gen ports and yearly recycled garbadge then you should be encouraging this game to succeed. Perhaps other devs/publishers will look up to it and try to reach the same heights. I don't know if you realise it but shitting on the game like that makes you the cancer here, not the game.
