Yes the DLC is played. Lots of people still play this game. I loved this game. There is a VERY STEEP learning curve for those starting now.

I enjoy having a nice, medium sized collection of games. I could never deal with only have 3 games because I enjoy games from all different genres. It kind of depends on the mood that I'm in. Some games I'm taking my time to trophy hunt. I look at my collection now and I feel like I have everything worth owning.

Here is my PS3 Collection (only Blu-Rays, I have everything worth owning on the PSN)

1. Metal Gear Solid 4

2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

3. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

4. inFamous

5. Demons Souls

6. Assassins Creed 2

7. Final Fantasy XIII

8. God of War Collection

9. God of War 3

10. Heavy Rain

11. Little Big Planet

12. MAG

13. MLB 10: The Show

14. Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time

15. Uncharted 2

Heavenly Sword. It gets a lot of stick and I don't see why, it's a great game.LovelyRocket
I agree. Heavenly Sword is under rated. But I hope we can agree that Heavenly Sword is no better than an 8.5. The games I've listed above are 9.0+ worthy.

It's a shame, if that game had a trophy patch, I'd gladly buy a used copy and replay it. Or Sony could be smart and you know...give it the Greatest Hits designation and re-release with a price drop.

I'm not sure I have an absolute favorite, but here are some standouts.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4- Finishing Solid Snake's final mission and saving the world from Liquid Ocelot was worth the admission price of a $600 PS3.

2. Fallout 3- Never before had I felt so engrossed by the game world. The Capital Wasteland was full of mysteries. I took the time to explore them all.

3. Uncharted 2- The best 3rd person shooter I've ever played. Best Graphics. Fantastic characters and voice acting. Fun story with a good sense of humor.

Honorable Mention: inFamous, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

I've been loving inFamous lately. First half is good. Second half is exceptionally good in my opinion. The fact that it wasn't even nominated for PS3 Game of the Year is downright sinful in my opinion. Somehow I get this feeling that a lot of PS3 owners missed out on this gem.

I loved all of my nominees, but it seems like most PS3 owners missed the boat because of the lack of hype for these fantastic exclusives.

I'd love to hear what you guys think and have an intelligent discussion about great games that get too little hype or credit.

And I missed out on Ratchet and Clank during the PS2 era. Joined the party in the PS3 generation. Love these games...wish more people did too.

By the way, feel free to add me to your Friends List if you are looking to play with a mature, 25-year old, team-oriented gamer. Only bother adding me if you also use a headset for team oriented games.

I'll always be a PlayStation supporter. I simply like the Sony exclusives more than the Microsoft exclusives. That said, I do own both consoles. I spend about 3/4 of my time on my PS3.

Just because the Xbox 360 has more consoles sold and a larger proportion of the U.S. market doesn't mean it is better. Look at last year's release calender. The only Xbox 360 games I bought all year were Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3 GOTY, and Halo 3: ODST. In theory, I could've gotten two of those 3 games on PS3. Compare that to my PS3 buys for the year: Killzone 2, MLB 09: The Show, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank Future: Crack in Time, Assassins Creed 2, and inFamous...

Sony has some great exclusives coming out next year; headlined by my #1 game: God of War 3.

Microsoft looks strong for next year too. Splinter Cell Conviction is my most anticipated 360 game.

No point being a fanboy. You just miss out.

I think that keeping the overall dimensions of the DualShock consistent for the past 3 generations has been both good and bad, but mostly good. The design is comfortable first and foremost. Sony DOMINATED the last 2 generations, with over 200 million consoles sold. I would estimate at least 500 million people have held a PlayStation controller in their hands. It's easy to pick up and play that way.

There have been small tweaks with the angle of the thumbsticks and pressure of the buttons, but no major changes.

That said, I wouldn't mind a change if they decided to make one. I find a way to adapt.

I can vouch for the fact that this deal works on pre-orders. I had a $10 Gift Card that I had to use by tomorrow or else I was out of luck. I have all the games I want for this year so I went looking for older games. Much to my surprise, I was able to pre-order God of War 3 AND Final Fantasy 13. AND I was able to get free shipping and use my gift card. Not bad...$40 each, brand new.

I'm on just about everyday. I play a pretty wide variety of games. I play with a headset when it comes to online shooters. I'm a mature 25 year gamer, not some 12 year old brat. Usually play late at night when I get back from work. 11 PM or later, Eastern time. Feel free to add me.
