I was think about purchasing Skyrim on my Xbox 360. However, back when I owned a PS3, I owned Skyrim. I had completed part of the main storyline, the Companions Storyline, the Civil War Storyline, The Theives' guild Storyline and the Dark Brotherhood Storyline. I was about 50 hours in, at some level in the upper 30s.

My question is, is there a lot left in terms of quests/exploration in Skyrim or did I pretty much complete everything in the game? Also, is the new expansion (I forget it's name) for Skyrim worth it? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

When you *think* about it, the PS3 is outclassed in almost everything this gen, save for subjective arguments (such as "best" controller), best paid-for service and media functionality.

Online: Live has faster Download speeds, more demos, more arcade/indie titles, and typically more people playing online.

Sales: The Wii outsold the PS3 by 20+ million units. The 360 has also still sold more than the PS3.

Reliability: Although the PS3 is better than the 360 in terms of reliability, the wii is still much more reliable than the ps3.

Multiplats: More multiplats have performance advantages on the 360, such as more stable framerate.

Exclusives: I guess this argument is highly subjective but wii exclusives such as Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 have higher MC scores, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the only other exclusive this gen to receive a 10 on Gamespot besides MGS4. Oh, and Gears of War 3's 9.5 > All other Ps3 exclusives in 2011.

Favorite DD game: It's probably a tie between Toy Soldiers: Cold War, and Trials Evolution.

Favorite DD developer: Signal Studios (Toy Soldiers: Cold War developer)

Sorry, PNF was right, Kinect is here to say as he once says and is apart of package next xbox. So what do you wanna see from it? It will have alot more power. Are you also excited? I know that I cant wait to talk sign language with my console.

ForzaGearsFace

Good games that properly utilize the tech, obviously.

But from a technical standpoint I'd love to see kinect 2 be able to track facial expressions and appendages much more precisely.

" X franchise is for the n00bs!"

"COD IS TERRIBLE AND DESERVES NO SALES! REHASH REHASH REHASH!"

The unneccesary hate towards yearly titles.

Oh, and I think the Mass Effect ending change petition was a bit extreme. But beyond that there's really nothing that makes me mad about the gaming community.

  • 1-Sales Of course this is gonna be Black Ops 2. Having a version on every conceivable platform known to man tends to lead to more sales as opposed to the game being on one system.
  • 2- Fanbase Is this a rhetorical question :|? Both games will probably have unusually bad fanbases.
  • 3-Players online Of course this is gonna be Black Ops 2.
  • 4- AdvertisingNothing touches the Activision Marketing Empire, but Halo 4 will have a ridiculous amount of marketing.
  • 5-hypeHalo 4. It has an actual number in the title, the first time for a halo game since 2009.

Let's see what MS had done with this gen. They set the tone in terms of Online infrastructure for consoles, creating an online experience that both Sony and Nintendo have been playing catch up to.

They have an easy to develop for Console, leading to PC/360 only multiplats. Also they do get a slight edge in terms of multiplatform titles, with larger differences being seen in early in this gen titles.

Although these two achievements aren't exactly mind-blowing, they most certainly helped set the tone for this gen.

Short and non-replayable games aren't exactly worth $60 to me. Maybe $15 if it's worth playing, but under no circumstances will I pay $60 for a 5 hour non-replayable game.

Nothing really comes to mind... However, I will say that Madden needs a bit of a reboot considering not only has it basically stayed the same graphically, it hasn't really made any game-changing additions/changes for a long time.
