@northArrow @kevin_42 Yeah but "switching" implies losing out on MS exclusives, and there's no way in hell that's happening. Already, DR3, Halo, Forza, Crackdown, Spark, sunsetoverdrive, Titanfall, GOW, Whatever Tusk is working on... these I wouldn't miss for anything. Not even for a PS4.
I'm getting a PS4 for the exclusives. Everything else will be on my XboxOne. Packed in voice/motion/emotion sensor, massive online infrastructure, hdmi in, pushing TV, social, apps, html5, and media room integration. With kick-ass games and processing power to boot.
@Katz @kevin_42 @thomps011 That article says that developers have access to the internet... nothing about any supporting infrastructure. Basically, "if devs want it, it's possible"
@thomps011 the PS4 does'nt do cloud computing, according to IGN's console comparison charts.
Some people will tell you that cloud computing is "useless", "unecessary" ... those people are the same ones that have restricted themselves to the Playstation4. Developers sing a different tune.
No matter how you slice it, having the option available is much better than not having it at all. Developers are already putting it to work.
