For many reasons too numerous to mention, PS4 is currently my Next gen platform of choice, alongside Nintendo's Wii U. Best of luck to Microsoft. People who do end up purchasing an Xbox one will have a ton of fun, no doubt. I just don't want to miss out on Gran Turismo, whatever naughty dog is working on, quantic dream developed games and so on.

At the very least, this type of concept justifies the existence of cloud gaming. Microsoft needs to absolutely sing the virtues of such concepts to win back the crowds. Peter Molyneux said it best when Microsoft revealed the console to the public. Microsoft have to show the value to the customer and what types of innovate that persistent online connections can bring to the table before releasing their newest console. I'm not sold yet, but concepts like the drivatar are intriguing,

@Kurushio The Wii U is an awesome console. The markets are changing and Microsoft and Sony will also have a lot of trouble selling their consoles past the hardcore fans. There is still a ton of money to be made with big AAA titles, though. The console model has to change, and between now and 10 years from now, someone is going to change it.

@megakick Games on the Wii U actually look great to be honest. The gamepad is a great concept that will hopefully be adopted by gamers in the near future. It makes local multiplayer matches a lot of fun to play. Give the Wii U a chance and you'll love it.
