@freakin9 That's a good point, too. Damn the devil's advocates. I thought I was mad, and now I'm just feeling insecure. Anyone here know a decent psychiatrist?
That was a great episode, Danny. In five minutes, you painted a very cogent and convincing picture of how gaming and gamers are viewed. I didn't even know I was mad about it until now.
@GunEye @slainta SE are sticklers about caps, even with regard to entering your e-mail address. I must have signed up with them using a capitalized letter in the front of my e-mail, and I have to do it exactly like that every time with SE now
@HybridExtreme I've found Peach! She's a stripper at the Golden Banana! Bowser is there too .... come to think of it, I think her name was "Peaches," and he was a "bouncer." :/ I guess my princess is in another castle. :(
@Mevrick It sounds to me like your post is probably one of the most pertinent on this feed. It's nice to hear from someone who actually has experience on the topic. Thanks for sharing.
On a side note, these Reality Check segments are so bad ass. I hope GS keeps doing them
@savagetwinkie It's misogynistic, it's violent, it's racist... it's GTA. I have no problem if people want to complain about these things nor do I have a problem if people are offended by the game.
The reviewer has a right to rate the game 9/10 based on morality issues, but I also have the right to call her out on it. She's lost my respect because, in my opinion, she was highly unprofessional.
@00J @jonnyb81 I couldn't agree more. I was just making a tongue-in-cheek comment about the reviewer docking a point or so because of misogyny. Apparently that's a line you don't cross when being rated by Gamespot.
