Radiohead. Most bands that I don't like I can at least try and find something decent about it, especially classic bands with immense popularity over the years, but I have never ever found anything enjoyable or good in their music. For classic bands that are supposed to be among the best ever give me queen, the beatles, led zeppelin, muse, or whatever any day. The fact they have the 2nd top ranked album of all time on rate your music annoys me no end

the only DECENT one that will be remembered is Muse, and possibly porcupine tree. No good metal will be outside of the metal spectrum. There are literally three hundred bands I could mention from the last 10-15 years in metal that SHOULD be remembered but won't. To me Radiohead are the most overrated band of all time by a long way, and I have listened to A LOT of the supposedly classic bands. Bland in every way.
I'm surprised at the amount of hate Death Metal gets over Black Metal. There are a few gems in Death Metal (including Melodic), I fail to see the equivalent in Black.
And I don't really have anything against Pop or Rap. No, listening to metal does not mean you're kvlt, get over yourself.Nude_Dude
It's because people here have only heard of death metal and assume EVERYTHING with screaming/growling, or any kind of non clean vocals is death metal, regardless of whatever genre it actually is - they simply haven't even heard of black metal. I have seen slipknot called death metal over 20 times in realf life and online. The fact you see people say they don't like death metal/screamo shows how little they actually know about extreme music.

If I have a favourite it would probably be Shoegaze... least favourite is Metal.

weird I know so many people who love both. Anyways I love Slowdive, Lovesliescrushing, school of seven bells, my bloody valentine, alisons halo, alcest, destroyalldreamers, malory, stella luna and pyramids with nadja. Any good ones I'm missing? Cocteau Twins, Ride, Boo Radleys, Radio Dept., JAMC, Galaxie 500 etc. Don't really like cocteau twins, the vocals annoy me.
