Their focus is on non-gamers and people obsessed with Mario and Pokemon.They are capable of making more action oriented franchises like Zelda(excluding Wind Waker), Metroid, and Smash.But they need some more.The parents who buy a Wii for their kids only cares about Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and anything that has Mario or Pokemon in the title.It's a real shame the Wiimote may go to waste considering how much is possible for shooters and action games.If Nintendo doesn't get more than those 3 franchises I listed and Manhunt 2 I may jump ships to PS3.I've stayed loyal through the years but when Monster Hunter 3 becomes a hyped game you know somethings bad wrong.
I won't buy it even if its AAA because its not my kinda game.I buy what appeals to ME, not to rub it in "Cows" faces.Why would they care if a flop sold well on Wii? The only people who even buy the MH games are Japanese casuals.
Well I hate RPG's so I never bothered with TTYD.Luigi's Mansion was okay I guess, but it also showed why it took so long for Luigi to have his own game, it wasn't as good as Mario.Sunshine was amazing IMO.I love the water pack and really loved the environment.
According to VGCHARTZ F-Zero GX only sold 120,000 copies, and Star Fox Assault only 190,000 copies.F-Zero doesn't really surprise me because alot of people were too into Double Dash to bother with the most challenging racer ever created, but I thought the Star Fox brand was stronger than that, anything with him before that was a million seller.
I despise Paper Mario.Without Zelda and Metroid probably 0/10.But Brawl and Kart are gonna have me playing for years so its fine.And Galaxy right around the corner.
I can play the same few games for years and be satisfied.I own a Wii, Metroid 3, Twilight Princess, and am anticipating Galaxy, Brawl, Kart, and Mario Baseball.Those could keep me occupied for a few years.I don't get why some people on here have to have like a gazillion AAA's or your not satisfied.I think alot of you have forgotten gamings about fun, not arguing.
