Interesting, I found......something, LOL. Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2

I think I have seen this before but never paid much attention. It supports the early Core 2 (1066 FSB and less) DDR and DDR2 (only 2 slot for each, but better than none). It also has an AGP slot and a PCIe slot, now the PCIe is only 4x electrical, but should run most lower end PCIe cards just fine.

So that will do everything you need now, plus give you upgrade paths. Now I have no experience with this board so I don't know how good it is. But I would assume mixing that much stuff will/can increase the chance of having problems.

Thanks, thats probably the best I could be asking for.

As an early poster mentioned, an E8400 is going to be bogged down by DDR and AGP parts. Save up, get a new PC. You could easily get something better than what you have for $600.

Well thanks for the words but can you just stick to what I want? I don't see how the ram and the card will be a bad thing, I just want a good upgrade from what I already have and I think thats what this will do. When I'll have more money, I'll upgrade the rest.

Well, I only have an AMD Athlon 2200+ right now (rated at 2.2 ghz), so I'm just looking for an improvement here, not something that runs all games perfectly.

If I have to upgrade my ram, its nice, but I'd like to keep the card. If you can find anything that supports at least AGP cards, even if not DDR, that would be nice.

I'm no computer pro, but I'll try to be accurate. I have an AGP video card (nvidia 7300 GT) and 3 ddr rams card (1 with 512 and 2 with 256).

I want to change my motherboard and my processor "only", I only have 300$ or so for that. However, my priority is I want an "Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz", and I want a motherboard that supports absolutely all of it.

I tried looking, but most have no support for either AGP cards or DDR memory. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the post.

Yes it is much harder, but I do not understand why.

You have the perfect things for I'm looking for but I'd need to buy your keyboard, which is a nono. And assuming that any software out there is anywhere similar is well, just not true - for one to even repeat the action infinitely "while pressed" is extremely rare already, and when they do, they do it in way I can't use it.

I'm sure something more universal that can do what I want exists - its impossible that it doesn't, I wouldn't believe that, its nots an overcomplicated things and its very possible compared to all programs I saw.

I'll still keep this bumped if anyone knows more useful thing to add...

My apology if this isn't the place to ask.

I'm simply looking for anything that allows me to, say, hold B and it will press B really fast (rapid fire, turbo, auto fire, call it whatever you want) until I release it.

I'm asking this for many games where you need to release and press again to do something - it can get EXTREMELY annoying and pointless, I just want it to be easier on the finger.

Thing is, I couldn't find anything that did this no matter how hard I tried. Found some for mouses, joysticks, but obviously, not keyboard. Does anyone know of such a thing?

Well I already dislike the controller. I'm not trying to spread out hate or anything, I just dislike the feel of it, I'd prefer a classic controller for normal controls anyday instead. I did not try it extensively, merely 10 minutes or so, but I dislike it, plain and simple.

Which means I'd be buying the thing for Brawl more than anything. But I was really wondering more than anything if some people felt the same about the controllers, but actually liked it after a while, when they got used to it. Because I'm not in total hate against the controller either.
