Fact Xbox 360 sold over 13 million Kinects. Kinect Adventures is the number one selling game with COD a distant 2nd with 9.5 million sold. Thats more copies then even the number one game on Sony PS3 charts Modern Ware fare 3 at 5.9 million games sold. Considering the Kinect came out late in the cycle. People love the technology and Xbox One will sell plenty of consoles.

Kinect was the number one seller on Xbox 360 with over 13 million sold. Over 4 million more then COD the second best selling game behind adventures on the Xbox 360. Thats a lot of people buying and supporting Kinect so late in Xbox 360 generation and no privacy issues to date...

Actually you can get Xbox Live 12 month for less then PS+ online. Amazon 12 month Xbox Live $49.79 vs PS+ $49.99. In fact I often pick up 12 month Live Gold for $40 online. PS+ has lower profit margin for 3rd party vendors and much less discount.

So it begs the question... Should all console makers simply stop innovating and just stick with what works? Its innovation that keeps these devices interesting. I will support anyone who innovates in this industry. Thats why I bought a Wii U. It was the original Wii that pushed MS into moving into that direction with the Kinect. If Sony was the only console in the market nothing would change. They would take no chances or take any risk and thats boring...

Very much so but they failed to get enough 3rd party support. They also failed to invest much in their online experience. It does have great potential. Very bummed about that. Holding on to for now hoping eventually it will improve.

Somebody must be interested in Kinect. Its the highest selling device on Xbox 360 outselling COD by over 4 million copies. Over 13 Million copies sold! Not bad for a device introduced later in the Xbox 360 cycle. I own a Wii U (Waste of money) and will eventually pick up a PS4 but I pre-ordered an Xbox One. Why? Because as a core gammer I love the Kinect and consider it of great value. The logic of making the Kinect standard is to ensure that publishers will support the device. This will make every game that comes out for the Xbox One distinctly different from what comes out on PS4. If they did not include then support would be limited and we would be stuck with the same types of games we have been playing now for over 20 years! I'm very disappointed in Sony delegating their technology as optional. It will severely limit innovation for the console since most game designers wont create PS4 games for it. I'm starting to think the Sony Fanboys hatred for the Xbox One is jealousy It seems no matter what forum your on, there is a Sony Fanboy insulting anyone who is looking forward to the Xbox One. We should support all next gen consoles Xbox One included. If the Kinect continues to increase in popularity Sony will eventually move in the same direction. As far as I'm concerned Microsoft is the only company this gen that took a risk to innovate this cycle.
