@slefo29

You are stepping a very fine line lol, an amusing point is that in games there are problem of both sexes but they are different ones, with both men and women be betrayed in games negatively, a point would be that most people don't care about the men but a lot do about women, so its not an issue for men. But just because something isn't an issue for you doesn't mean it shouldn't be an issue for someone else.

And consumers love giving them that money, don't forget that.

Lol does not knowing this make the problem obvious :D, in all honesty sex appeal doesn't attract me to games since my motivation to play has no sexual motivation. I just enjoy playing games, so while i may think the need to include women in every game even has some merit, the sex sales argument just makes male gamers look like perverts.

The biggest problem with DA2 is the 2 in the title lol.

It had big problems with it but I would have to say its biggest problem was that people wanted a remake of DA:O, I realised this on my 2nd playthrough.

Now i must admit i preferred or DA:O to 2, part of the reason is cos 2 was rushed, which we can tale from re used environments and a city that doesn't change. The enemies jumping out of nowhere i think was due to this as well i think.

So the first problem was feeling of laziness, the 2nd was the fact that our character was advertised as a hero, but he wasn't. I however get the feeling this was intended, while our character was made a hero by the people he could change anything, only mitigate the damage a little bit, he felt like a normal person dropped into shoes he couldn't fill, and you know if that is what they were going for i like the premise but most fans wouldnt.

The 3rd problem is that the game is too linear for a bioware game, but too non-linear to get what they were going for. If i had been then i would of cut out all the sidequests excluding the companion ones, then add a lot more of quests around the important acts like the rising tensions leading to the conflicts, and also increase companion side quests.

So while i say there are 3 problems with DA2 i feel two of them are due to the fan base, though i must say i still enjoyed DA2 and when not viewed as a sequel to the first game but a seperate kind of story i enjoyed it a lot more.

@ShakyMonkey

look get over the whole miscrosoft thing, even if the matter was as simple as you make out, it wouldn't be hypocrisy. Even if Microsoft planned to do good things they marketed the ideas horribly. And lets compare steam, a service which is currently offers great sales in a industry without competition, consistent price drops, and games that are initially lower than discs.

Then look at the current digital distribution with Xbox, where there are not price drops on older games ever, there were no sales during the 5 yrs i used my xbox 360. The games cost the same to download even if they were worth less. So the reason why people dislike miscrosofts plan is because explained it badly,

Even when they did explain it they had no plans on making games cheaper even though they would be worth less, there track record would suggest that no matter how old a game was it would remain at maximum price and so we would just have to deal with it and pay £60 for old games. As well as that fact that on pc you require steam to download a game not to play it after it has been authorized, While on the new Xbox one we would be unable to play our games as soon as they decided to cut the support

So maybe you should look at the issue before you mislead.

@MidNightStrikes i am going to be honest defending kojima only considering what he initaitally said can only be because your a pervert. Yes i am guy, yes i find a women attractive but do i need masturbation material in the games i play? No i don't, i like being able to play a game and for my intentions not to be confused with being sexaully motivated.

Other than perverted reasons what reason is there to want 'erotic' characters in a video game?

@girlshavefuntoo @GlaciusXL Not if you listen to some more of the crazy feminists lmao, i am serious. In all honesty race of characters is generally something that doesn't bother me, but whenever i have the choice to make a character in a game, my first playthrough is as a black male, so i can understand why people want more female as main characters.

While i don't generally pay for f2p games i a have spent around £20 on lol, and while some people bring up the point why pay when it is free, technically you can get most games on PC for free and yet lots of people buy games on steam. Considering the fact tht i enjoy the game and play it a lot i spend on it what i feel it deserves, i have already spent more time playing lol than any other game i have played so i feel they deserved the money I spent on it, and i don't feel that supporting something you enjoy should be considered negative in they way lots of people do see it.

@V3rciS This isnt entirely true, they used to blame violent movies up until it made very little sense to do so, and before that it was tv.
