@armcameron why you got two thumbs down is beyond me. You made perfect sense and for the people that thumbed down him you need to listen to his advice and heed them. There is nothing a developer can do in the game that will prepare you for person vs person competition except freaking doing it! Yes you will die, a lot at first. But people are willing to help you get better. I live in Atlanta ga and I recently found a local brewery where after hours they hold mortal kombat competitors. When I first got there I was dying a lot and could barley move! But everybody was really nice and helped me get better and better and now I won second place at a tournament the other day. YouTube videos, online, tutorials in the game....it's all there. But fighting is different than any other game out there. Some people are born fighters. Some people just can't. You truly develop your own style and rythem and there is nothing quite like competing in a fighter competition. It's you and only you and all that you have learned. That's what is so great about it, nobody fights quite the same and brings a differ style to the plate. It's all about self discovery.
I wish these execs knew that the movies people are downloading are the movies they probably would have never bought in the first place, having limited funds, like most people, how can they be so arrogant to think they are losing money when there crap is downloaded? Every movie studio should figure out a way to get movies to people for cheaper. That way your average person will buy more movies with the extra cash. Thats why people download in the first place, they get a chance to see something they ony had a passing interest in, or preview the content before purchasing. That guy who downloaded a couple hundred movies...do they really think if they could put a stop to pirating that the same guy would just go out and BUY those same movies? Hail no! Hail effin no! These corporations need to suck my dictionary.
@HalberdGalin what you said made zero sense. Yes, it's ok to post a review of your own game, but it's like being the judge in a competition your little kid has entered, and it's the same reason why doctors are not aloud to treat or operate on their friends and family. When you have a personal investment in the thing at stake, then there is a possibility no matter how small, that the review has been compromised. You need to understand that reviews are about objectivity. If you went to a car dealership and asked one of the guys what auto brand is the best, 100 % of the time they are going to say the place they are working at is the best auto brand ever, unless of course it's a used lot that has many differ kinds of make and models like Carmax. There heart is in it bc they made the game! Of course they are going to scream its praises! Its just not an accurate review to read, here's another analogy in case you don't understand my point...my girlfriend thinks I'm the hottest guy on the planet...do you think it's a credible source to hear from my gf that she thinks I'm the hottest guy in the world? Does it make it true? Not by any scale! I'm always going to be he best looking, have the biggest you know what etc etc, which is why i never take crap that my gf says too seriously! That sounded bad, but you know what i mean.
Why so much hate for the ps3 version. I have sunk a good 15 hours in and and have not seen anything game breaking. Only little things like an NPC walking into a wall and continually walking into it. The giant elephant thingy that they say will be fifty feet in the air was never a problem. Oh well not a big deal, does anybody know if it came on more than one disc for Xbox?
@Giancarlo I have had it happen to me, it is serious, but not anywhere nearly as bad as you make it out to be because every last Sony customer was warned, which meant preeminent action, by the average SMART consumer, will have taken place. Case in point, I went to a bar and lost my card, that morning called the card company, had them read off the charges that night in case some were erroneous, had them cancel that card and mail me out a new one, new number and everything. The SECOND Sony said CC info might have been compromised I did the SAME thing. Sony also has offered the theft protection so ALL BASES ARE COVERED, save your sensationalist drivel for FOX news you histrionic bore!
Sensationalist fear mongering at it's best right here folks. This is the WORST blog I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Sony's fraud plan covers EVERYTHING, that's it, case closed. Anything happens to your credit cards it's covered. Also, the SECOND Sony announced your CC info might be leaked, you can call the bank and have them re-issue a new card with differ info and everything. It's that simple, takes like a week...it's no worse then sending your 360 off to get refurbished...
