i started with an 8800gt, then stepped up to this card, now i am running a 295. They are very, very powerful cards. but, to those who question the value, it really all depends on the resolution of your monitor. anything 1680x1050 and below really just needs a gtx 260. anything higher can choose any of the upper end cards.
