I see people saying how the ps3 controller is better than the 360....well I have both systems and I am a big COD4 player. I can't stand COD4 on ps3 for this same reason. It is way too loose. The 360 controller is much tighter and cleaner feeling on this game. I have the same problem on killzone 2. So it is not just you....I want to like killzone 2 just as much as the next guy, but it aint happenin. It is so funny to sit here and see all these people saying, "well the reason it feels weird is because its just better."......sure buddy
I couldn't agree more. I have both and I would trade the ps3 in anyday over the 360. I love the 360...Its fun to see what's new with everything when you sign in to xbox live. Ps3 still feels like a prototype with issues that need to be worked out.
I have the 360 and the ps3 so making an objecitve comparison of online features and performance....I would pay for xbox live any day of the century over free psn.... I wanna like the ps3, believe me I do...I really really do...I don't care about specs or tech or future potential...show me something I can sink my teeth into...360 does that for me
So I love COD4 and WAW and play them both often as do many of my friends. I'm a runner and gunner and prefer the fast paced gameplay of team deathmatch and free-for-all. I consider myself decent at COD4 with a k/d ratio of 1.51 and 1.50 on WAW. Recently I have been quoted by many of my friends and acquaintances saying, "I only play hardcore.". Like this is some kind of elite gaming mode where only the real killers dwell. Well I decided to take a shot at it and found it to be full of campers. I know many will say it takes more strategy because it is more realistic. Bull@#*+...How much strategy does it take for over half the people in the map to just sit there waiting for somebody to run by. Honestly on some of the game modes before you spawn you can sit there and watch some guy not even move. Its ridiculous. Camping takes no skill and lowers my opinion of you as a person. I know this will stir up a hornet's nest but I want to hear opinions. I'm Chad Magnum on xboxlive.
I have a 32 inch Vizio 1080p that I bought from Costco for 569. I love it and it looks great. I was in the same situation as you, I wanted an affordable gaming LCD TV and was partial to Sony and Samsung (which is what I have in my living room). You will see people bashing Vizio because it is not name brand and cheaper. I have compared it to friends' and my own more expensive tvs and I actually think the Vizio is better on the gaming side. Just keep this in mind, I was skeptical at first, and was fully ready to return it if it didn't meet my expectations. I couldn't be happier with the purchase I made, it is definitely worth giving a shot.
