Just a suggestion: Play the game on Easy, even if you think that it is beneath you. Every new game that I pick up that I'm unfamiliar with I play on the lowest difficulty for the first playthrough. That way you can learn the mechanics, learn where you can pick up items, what items you should save, and remember tough spots.

If you still screwed it up on the lowest difficulty(which has infinite retries), then this game is not for you, sorry, but it happens. All gamers have genres of games where they're not as good as usual.

If you are gripped by a sense of shame whenever you have to play a game on "Easy", like those weak-ass n00bs that you despise, then reevaluate your outlook on life. You just might be a massive tool.

Edit: Just read online that "Easy" mode is only for the PC, if you're playing it on a console, I apologize for the post. Disregard what I said.

Yup, that's the one. Thank a lot, don't know why the image was called "Shinin", though.

Thanks again, I'm going to look it up in a few days to see if it's good.

Hey there, I'm looking for a game on the Sega Genesis(at least I played it on a Genesis emulator). I don't remember much, except the Image's name was "Shinin' something", but it definitely wasn't one of the Shining Force games. What I do remember was your character, who was a knight-looking fellow with long blond hair.

I think I remember that there was an opening movie in which he said "They're all going to pay for what they did to me", and the opening levels were in a village, where some people had gone missing recently. I also remember that one of the enemy types I saw was a green blob of goo(it wasn't a Shining Force game, I swear).

So, that's all I have, hope it's enough. Thanks in advance.

Okay, I just got a serious nostalgia attack about a game, I hadn't even remembered in years. So, anyway the game was an adventure on the PC, I also think it was an indie title. It came out some time in the turn of the century I think. You played this guy wearing slippers and a bathrobe through the entire game. It started out in a stormy night, when the guy was in his room sleeping. He's woken up by thunder so he decides to go to the fridge for a snack. Then something happens and he's teleported in this futuristic city which had a kind of 1984 thing going on, though the game itself was very light-hearted.

That's all I can remember and if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
