[QUOTE="i_like_pizza"][QUOTE="death919"]IGN has the most reliable although they have their share of "classics":
Jade Empire getting a 9.9/10 and not even getting an honorable mention in the RPG of the Year category LOLOL!

Okami wasn't the PS2 GOTY a couple of years ago, but it got overall GOTY. IGN certainly seems to have some division across editing pools. I LOVE the way their system is set up, though.
IGN also has the best podcasts. I like their editors also. I hate their forums!PS: Okami got GOTY because of the way IGN's GOTY voting was set up in the office. I heard them explain in the podcast that many people put it as their 3rd place or 2nd place, but it ended up getting more 'points' than any other game. They have since changed their voting system.
Yeah, I know about why Okami got the GOTY. I just think it's rather funny, because their editors that are dedicated to covering PS2 games didn't even think it was the best game that the PS2 had to offer that year (they were wrong, though), and the other editors thought it was awesome. That's what I mean by "division." I'm sure there are plenty of people who rejected the notion of giving a Wii game GOTY (Twilight Princess) simply because it was a "port" or "gimmicky."
