the only reason sales are so high is because of the huge amount of defective units. people go back and get new ones for free. and MS probably counts that as a sale.

My friends dad has gone through no less than 3 Xbox ones. all of them defective. the first two the kinect sensor failed to work at all. despite being plugged in properly it would work for a few minutes then the xbox would report that there was no kinect sensor connected at all. the 3rd one was the recently release titanfall xbox. the funny thing is the kinect actually worked on that xbox but the controller would not pair at all. so far 1 man has had 3 defective units. how many have others had?

If you hover over the game hit options on the controller and go down to information it is showing that all 3 games have an end date to when they expire. anyone else notice this?

I was just going through some old games from 1990 and what do you know. i found a little catalog with tons of games ranging from as little as 14.99 to OH MY GOSH $59.99 LORDY LORDY THE PRICES ARE TO DAMN HIGH!

If you were to calculate for inflation from 1990 to now we would be paying over $100 just for one NEW game. i for one am glad to be spending $60 on a new video game when you look at it like this.

They call it Steam OS but really its just linux with a different GUI so any linux based programs should be able to run on this with very little effort. also you could go ahead and install windows on this because they are just common PC parts anyways.

On another note i did go to newegg and tried to build a similar system to the $499 one and it was only a few dollars more than the Steambox and that is without windows (because i wont touch linux) and no wireless card. The Steambox is a GREAT value at least a $499 because it would cost more to build it yourself + shipping.

So does microsoft sell phones? Tvs? full entertainment systems? own fully fledged music and movie companies? make car radios? high end audio equipment for there music and movie companies? hows about Cameras that can shoot in a higher resolution than 4K? i don't see microsoft doing any of that so i wonder how they are far bigger than sony?

No offense to this dude but really. it seems like ur game should be a free game on some random website from 1998. i hope you dont charge more than like 99c for this game or no one will buy it.

Also go look at the Xbox live marketplace and then look at all the crap arcade games that somehow made it onto the system. this game = those games. garbage. (aka not worth paying for should be Free to play on a website from 1998)

While i am waiting on intels broadwell CPU i figured i would try to find a cheap core 2 quad to upgrade from my core 2 duo. you can get the low end stuff like the Q8200 for around $40 or less and i was thinking that was alot. when you start getting into the 9400s and the 9500s it shoots up to $100 or more just for a used CPU!

Why are they so expensive? its old tech (REALLY OLD) i guess they could make a good server cpu but i have no idea where all this demand is coming from. i dont ever hear anyone sayong YEAHH I JUST GOT A QUAD CORE around here or anywhere for that fact.

I mean if you look who are even selling them its mostly recycling plants that get all the stuff dumped to them for free and then they just jack up the prices making 100% profit. its so greedy....
