Haven't played on a regular tv for over 3 years. Once you go HD, you'll never go back

I'd go with the pro, which comes with a 60gb HDD. If you plan on getting a bunch more games for your 360 and plan on installing all of them, get the Elite.

Fracture was fun to plow through, but it's a horrible game compared to Halo... and I'm not even a fan of Halo

I've played COD, UO, Finest Hour, and COD4. I loved the SP of the original at the time, but I couldn't stand the multiplayer. I thought UO improved upon the MP, but the SP lacked a bit. Finest Hour was forgettable, but I think COD4 nailed it in both the SP and the MP.

Finest Hour was pretty much garbage, and yeah, CoD4 was the best overall CoD due to the best SP in the series and the most accessible and well structured MP

I mainly listen to professional reviewers. The problem with judging a game based off of people on internet forums is that a lot of people will buy a game, and in order to psychologically cope with cognitive dissonance, will convince themselves that the game's quality warrants a purchase. In order to support their belief, they will try to convince others, such as people on internet forums, that their beliefs are valid. This is similar to how cults are formed...

Installing games to the hard drive puts less strain on the 360.

My 360 just red ringed, so I towel tricked it and I can play games on the hard drive just fine. HOWEVER, if I try to play a game off of a disc, the game will freeze within 20 minutes.
