Traxxpad is not a game. It basically is a portable studio program. It's used to make beats and the like for songs, mostly rap songs, as that's what I've used it for. It's actually pretty cool. When I'm not at home, and don't have access to Fruity Loops on my PC, I can pop Traxxpad in my PSP and work on beats anywhere.

Well, lets see. I don't really have a top 5, but I can list 5 games I play alot.

Manhunt 2

Bleach Heat the Soul 4

Monster Hunter Freedom Portable

Final Fantasy Tactics

Super Robot Taisen MX Portable

Some of them are Japanese games, which makes them hard for me to understand (I'm learning though :)).

My most anticipated games though are Crisis Core, Devil May Cry, and Gran Turismo.

I primarily bought my psp for portable online gaming and was deeply depressed to find out that it was only an option for certain games. The server issue is a valid argument, and it would be taking a major risk to do it, but sometimes risks need to be taken to make progress.

Now don't take this the wrong way, as I am not trolling, or trying to bash the psp (I absolutely love my PSP), but I'm hoping in the future that maybe Microsoft makes a handheld with better online gaming support. Doing this would possibly even be good for the PSPs online future, as they would create more games with infastructure to compete with MS.

I had the same problem when I bought my psp a few months ago. It sucks that all games don't have infastructure multiplayer. I don't know why the game developers can't put both infastructure and ad hoc multiplayer in all their games. I guess it's either a cost or laziness issue.

I would say get both, if possible. I haven't had the opportunity to play either of these games yet (my comp is a lil behind the times), but from my experience playing previous entries in these series, I would say get both. Although Quake Wars is more akin to Wolfenstein Enemy Territory than it is to Quake 4, I play both Quake 4 and Unreal Tournament 2004. Sometimes I want the fast paced deathmatch of UT2K4, and other times I want the more traditional deathmatch feel of Quake 4.

How to kill people lol jk. Seriously thought. I have learned that video games are the most gripping form of entertainment avaliiable. I can't tell ya how many times I've gotten emotional over a games graphics, storylines, or characters. I've had the same experience with movies though as well.

God I miss my Dreamcast (Best system ever). If I had the A/V cable for it still I could try to setup internet on it. But if I remember correctly I think you had to install the internet browser for you ISP onto the Dreamcast. I don't remeber off hand, that's been years ago that I set mine up, but I'll see if I can dig anything up for ya. Your doing a good thing here man. Dreamcast for life!

If she's addicted to DOA4, than she may like other fighting games. Try Virtua Fighter 5, and see if she enjoys playing that. Don't knock it man, you've got a girl that enjoys games other than Mario. My ex used to play GTA and MK with me all the time. Mostly what I did was just play the game when she was in the room with me, after a while she wanted to see what I was so interested in. She started running over pedestrians in GTA Vice City and she was hooked. She also enjoyed playing the WWE games since we were into wrestiling. Mostly you just gotta feel out her gaming interests. Play some different games, and see if shes interested in them.

My personal opinion ('Cuz I know I'll get flamed):

1. Manhunt series

2. Splinter Cell series

3. Tenchu series

4. Metal Gear series

I chose manhunt as the best because it has the whole stealth atmosphere. As well as the horror atmosphere. Splinter Cell was just an incredible game all around (I know the Metal Gear heads will say it was shallow because it didn't have a Japanese style storyline), especially the use of lighting and shadows for hiding. Tenchu was really good, I enjoyed the ninja aspect of it and the anime style kills. Metal Gear I chose last because I felt the stealth aspect was pretty shallow up until Snake Eater. Mostly it was just hide behind a wall or inside a cardboard box (yes I played MGS 1, 2 (I don't know why I bothered) and 3). The thing is, most times I didn't really feel a need to hide, as most of the missions you could just roll trough guns a blazin'.

I forgot about the Thief series, I would have to put that between Splinter Cell and Tenchu. Thief had a very good stealth mechanic as well.

Edited for spelling.

Devil May Cry is being developed for PSP. I haven't heard anything about a RE title yet. I would love to have these games. I'm not a big GOW fan so DMC would be great. It's basically down to what kind of game are you looking to play, a horror game, or a balls out fast paced action game.
