LIVID! Regarding the newset delay of the PS3 is so disappointing, yet ,even more so discouraging. It''s like being told the Original Van Halen has gotton back together, their in the studio, and recording possibly the greatest album ever. Your so excited, pumped up, reading all the great things happening in the studio, hearing bits of songs, and pieces of Eddie's solo's, which are getting you so amped up, you can't wait to have it the album. Excited yet?!! YES But wait! Then later being told, "Well, things aren't going as well as we wanted them too-(see Dave's voice, he's still an ass and Eddie being too almighty). It didn't go as we planned for the band or the album, and some new n exciting things we wanted in the album itself cannot be done. So while we hoped Dave's voice was still kickin, and later found out it's not, we aren't going to include Daves voice on the album, so here's Gary Cherone instead!!! Being an avid gamer since I got the Atari 2600 on christmas day many days back. As I also still have the 5200, the 7800, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Dreamcast, and of course my PS2. This is making me really wonder if Sony is either 1)setting themselves and us, for one of the biggest disapointments in entertainment history, or 2) Have they lost their edge in everything they do? As this is an embarassment to the nth degree. Seriously, how can you have your top men, speak out at conference's touting what the machine will do, how it will look like on screen, how the games will play, and more importantly, how the game actually looks and feels. Then months later say, Oh, so sorry, all that we showed you cannot be done and we aren't gonna be close to shipping as much as we say we are. (How can you NOT make millions of these things and have em ready ) We basically LIED to you all, but we will say it was "financially unrealistic", or something along those lines of deceitfulness. If we included all the extra ports, cables, modems, bigger Hard drive, memory etc., etc., then we cannot make more money on them as "extras". Yes we pre-rendered images so you could see what the possible "potential is" of the machine. But we all know they never actually get that way, but it sounds and looks awesome right? I agree, but we can't let other companies know how to fully utilize the PS3 as that would mean they know some of our secrets and more. (SEE the PS2 stories back then before it came out as the "Potential" was huge? Only thing is we won't let companies know HOW to utilize it to it's fully potential. You had an article a while back stating that Sony had a meeting with the publishers and creaters, and the poll was that ( i think it was only 2 companies, and like 4 games fully used the ps2 sytstem to the fullest,- see GTA, Gran Turismo, and Final Fantasy ) And yes, we said we would include all you would need as this was the future for home entertainment, including extra HDMI ports and more because this is the "future in our living room for our home entertainment center, but of course that hurts our bottom line and yuo all can wait. So save up your 1000.00 dollars or more for your $500.00 20 GB H.Drive /$600 system-60 GB H. Drive (which is on Blu-Ray-unproven, and problems already with them ). (And of course you know, someone is gonna freak when they realize that the 20GB HD, ISNT BIG ENOUGH!! for some of these games)$60.00 games, $50.00+ extra controller, $50.00+ for a new type of memory card, oops, can't forget the new cables your gonna have to get also,add another $25-100.00 Sorry, but we had to pull your leg a little bit, it was a nice thought though, right? Gotta love potential... ps WI is only 250.00
