@nemesis: I agree, this news was gutting. After the remake, I was cycling through all the different ways their approach could elevate Dead Space 2. History repeats itself with EA freezing the franchise for another damn Battlefield.

Tbh, I think the gameplay turned out surprisingly fun, with suitably snappy and intricate combat. The story and writing on the other hand, is godawful, top to bottom.

He definitely has a track-record of empty promises, but the guy seems genuinely passionate, well-tempered, and open to the gaming community. Hard to not at least admire.
