if i keep it in 4:3 mode, will that be better than? i have that mode on now and it looks much better than widescreen 16:3, but it still looks a little fuzzy. I think that's ony because the tv is really close to me, cause from far away it looks normal.

I just bought a 26'' widescreen HDTV the other day so I decided to move all my game consoles and connect them to this tv. When I tried playing all them (PS2, GameCube, and Xbox), they all looked kinda fuzzy and distorted in a way, except for most of the xbox games. Now I've been searching the internet for hours to see if there are ways to fix this problem, and I've seen a lot of ppl talk about this problem on these forums too. My question is: Will component cables make EVERY ps2 game (or gamecube/xbox games for that matter too) look good on my HDTV? And if I bought that Xploder HDTV product, will that make EVERY ps2 game look good on my HDTV? I don't care if it's not HD, I just want it to look as good as it did on my standard-definition tv that I had before this one. What are my options for any of these 3 consoles, more specifically gc and ps2. And will ps2 games look better if they're in a PS3?

[QUOTE="grndyfn19"]lol Zelda II is still good I just think it's the worst out of all them because it strays from the main playing style of all other Zelda games, and it's not as nostalgic. But how can you diss Windwaker AND Majora's Mask?!!!! Those were 2nd and 3rd on my list. If you liked Ocarina of Time, how can you say yadda yadda to Majora's Mask? And is it because of the graphics that you hate Windwaker?OneWingedAngeI

well if you diss zelda ii for not having the normal gameplay you have to diss wind waker also. it is a sailing game with a little bit of zelda mixed in. majora's mask is decent but i havent played it all the way through. i yadda'd it because i put it in with the gameboy games like the oracles, which were more like expansions to me than serious games in the series. i dont give them as much weight.

Oh, I see. Majora is really fun, though so you should finish it. And sailing in Windwaker is just an added element to travel in the overworld. It's still the same style of playing, where in Zelda II it's side scrolling when you fight and go through dungeons. That's the main reason it's different, but it's still extremely fun. I'm not saying it's a bad game because it's fun. The Oracles and all the gameboy games are really fun too, they're just usually shorter (not Phantom Hourglass). Every single one is good, so you should play them all.

List the order of your favorite Zelda games here. You do not need to name all of them, just the ones you have played/own. I own all of the Zelda game, so I will rank every one:

1- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

2- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

3- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

4- The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap

5-The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

6- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords

7- The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

8- The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

9- The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

10- The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

11- The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures

12- The Legend of Zelda

13- Zelda II: Link's Adventure

No matter what the order is, EVERY single Zelda game is amazing. The only exception might be Zelda II, but it is still fun. The CD-I games and the BS games, as well as the Tingle games, don't count in this list. Only the main titles.

Yeah, I bought an original Xbox used winter of '06 (last year) for I think $100, but that was because it was in a special bundle with an extra controller, an Xbox skin (lightning), and 3 used games under $10. I forget the price, but I'm pretty sure that was it. It works just fine, too. I'm keeping my Xbox for 3 reasons though: I can't upgrade to a 360 anyway because I don't have any room for it, if I could I would keep it for some games that aren't backwards-compatable (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x and others), and because you can hack an Xbox to play emulators and stuff which the 360 can't. I've never had Xbox Live, though, which kinda sucks but it's not really worth it now for an original Xbox.

i would also add pc to my list but as someone said in an earlier post, it is infinite. i mean, you can play ANYTHING on the pc, and most with bonus content. every game i see coming out thats also available for the 360 and ps3, i automatically know that the pc version is superior. idc wat ppl think about how long it takes to install, if u hav a good enough pc w/ a good enough video card, etc. the fact is that the pc is CAPABLE, no matter how much money or frustration it takes, to make a game better than it is on the console version. there are so many mods, user-created content, toolkits, gamepad support, mouse & keyboard (for fps), and can connect to any tv (even HD). so if u look at all this, plus things like emulators allowing you to play games from most of the systems mentioned by people in this topic, then the pc is the most superior system out there. but it will always be out there and never die, so i don't want to count it on my list. also, playing online is FREE, and can do anything a 360 can. i know theres going to be a lot of people arguing about this, but does anyone agree with me?

mine are:

1)Nintendo 64

2)Sega Genesis

3)Game Boy Color

what do u think are the best? and dont do things lik sayin a ps3 is better than a ps1 and ps2 because it has backwards compatability, plus ps3 games. just name what u think had the best games and features for the time period they came out in. :)
