top 3 gaming systems of all time

mine are:

1)Nintendo 64

2)Sega Genesis

3)Game Boy Color

what do u think are the best? and dont do things lik sayin a ps3 is better than a ps1 and ps2 because it has backwards compatability, plus ps3 games. just name what u think had the best games and features for the time period they came out in. :)

I know I'll be flamed for what I'm going to post, but here goes nothing. I've owned most of the biggest consoles and handhelds; SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, and the Gameboy Advance. Even a PC that was considered "gaming quality" through 1998-2006. Of all of these platforms, the one that has been the most fun to play as far as games and features has undoubtedly been my Xbox 360. Its fully integrated online experience combined with its superb lineup of games (opinion, of course) just puts it on another level. I've never enjoyed a gaming platform as much as I have the Xbox 360, and it still has years to get even better.

As far as a top three, I'd say:

1) Xbox 360

2) PC

3) SNES

3. Super Nintendo

IN all hoensty the PC would have to be number one.. Not saying that because I am a pc gamer.. Its just that you can play every game ever made for it.. Its like buying a Xbox360 and being able to play every gen down to the originals.sSubZerOo

You couldn't seriously think of a third system..? Are you like 14 or something? Not saying thats a bad thing, but three of the four systems you listed are from 2001 or later. Just seems like your either extremely young, just started gaming or your list is complete BS.

PS2 has the most diverse gaming library filled with over 60 AAA games and over 200 AAs. No game system will ever compare, sorry.
