@WolfgarTheQuiet @dpclark I agree- I wouldn't try to argue it isn't a sexualized costume, but it seems like the amount of blowback we're seeing over this is entirely unbalanced when you consider how most women are dressed in comics and other games. Even in MGS3, Eva's shirt was open, exposing her bra, for no real reason- but I don't remember people tearing the trailers apart over it.

It would be nice if the storytelling in the game was more engaging - considering Bungie has a 10 year plan for the game, I'm hoping that's something that will improve. The gameplay is great though and I'm having a great time playing with all the other guys in my barracks (It was a weird thing walking through the halls and seeing no less than one PS4 in each room and one room with a PS4 in every corner, all playing Destiny... and then there was my poor roommate with his Xbox One- not a bad system, but it's sad he's the only one in the building with no one to quest with)

@dmdavenport @Damascuss I see where you're coming from to an extent, but drawing the line at beef/pork is a bit silly - chickens are treated far worse for the most part.

The only people who have a leg to stand on in the anti-hunting argument are full vegetarians/vegans - as they are clearly deciding to not partake in eating meat at all. I guarantee you that those hunters (unfair weapon or not - even though the argument could be made that an accurate, high powered rifle is the MOST humane way to kill an animal) respect and care more about those deer than you have ever cared about any of the 10+ assorted chickens who were mulched up for your McNugget meal.

@weetbix23 I was 14 when Ocarina came out- if the school yard chatter was any indication, people realized it was amazing back then (though personally I was more of a Metal Gear Solid guy - they came out at around the same time)

Am I the only one who thinks it's an amazing coincidence that Elle Page came out of the closet on the same day this was released?

Ellie looks a lot like Ellen Page, just saying...

I'm a member of the military and I appreciate the sentiment about weapons tech not being about "who you hit", but rather "who you miss". It's all "ugly" technology, but the question of whether or not we should have it, is the larger question of whether or not we should have war in the first place. The answer to that is no, but we seem to anyways, and whether I like it or not, my friends have to fight. Anything that can help keep their aim true, and keep the lives of friendlies/civilians out of the conflict, will save more lives than they will take. I'm a medic and the last thing in the world I want to ever have to do is treat a bullet wound on a child, that was fired from a Canadian weapon, this tech may help insure I never have to do that.

(MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE LAST OF US)

Could Ellie from The Last of Us qualify for this list? I think she's a great example of a tough female character, with a very believable personality, who isn't sexualized at all. While she isn't the main player character, you do get to take control of her for about 20% of the game and she is likely the star of the upcoming story DLC. Clementine from Walking Dead is another good one.
