Is there any interacting with characters outside of the main story? Are there plots and dynamic characters that are not essential to the main story in the side quests?
Why do I get the sense that the developers are always trying to avoid telling the story of Subject 16, Lucy, and the modern day Assassins? I understand they want to avoid convoluting the greater narrative. I wish they hadn't told that story in the first place, now that they don't seem to have any interest in elaborating on it.
