Im more interested in 5k then 4k. 4k still have a level of fakeness to its visuals.

I really dont care about pc gaming anymore either. The revolution is in resolutions. So many cool resolutions, hz and aspect ratios to try. Testing older games is fun like F.E.A.R and Gothic 3.
Got my monitor and have used it for two hours. I do much better in games now. I bearly have to use slow mo in F.E.A.R now. Overall this was a very impressive experience. I will never go back to 60 hz ever again.
I just bought a 165 hz Asus monitor to replace my 1440p 60 hz Asus model. Will i fight better now in games like F.E.A.R, Doom 3 and Half life 2?
I have played the game for 10 hours. I think its modern trash. I will just stick to classics from 2007 and before and some new games like Alan Wake and Bioshock Infinite.
@napo_sp: I went there and i see that all the games are supported thanks! Only Doom 3 needs an ini.edit but i know how to do that.
F.E.A.R, Doom 3, Half life 2, Oblivion, Gothic 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R and the original Crysis. Does these games work in ultrawide or do i need to install a certain program to get them to work. I plan on getting a ultrawide 3440*1440p monitor in a short while.
@FelipeInside: I played with DSR a few hours ago. You dont need AA at 5k, but when i tried 4k you needed 2x like in 1440p, making 4k a bit stupid imo.
With 5k you dont need anti aliasing, but with 4k you will recieve more game support with 4k textures. Personally im more interested in 5k because the image becomes completely clean. But what will you guys pick in a few years when in need of a new monitor? 4k or 5k?
