Creativity was definitely better back in the day. Most of what we're playing now was created in the 90's.

Since HD, unless a game is photo realistic and plays like a movie its not a game.

You've never gamed at a higher frame rate, I can tell when a 60fps dips to 43fps very easily even when its just for a few seconds.

Tv and monitor standards are very different.

Because last gen introduced HD which is 720p.

Full HD is 1080p both are tv standards.

Hopefully within 2 years 1080p will be standard, for now dev's are still learning the new tech.

@RossRichard While everyone would like to believe that all networks buy petabytes of storage every month and endless property to store it all. Most just delete the oldest or the least used data.

"Thanks GS" I was in a discussion with another professional and I couldn't remember the AO term to save my life.

The jist of the conversation was to my eyes XBone over uses this feature to the point of making small dark shadows where there shouldn't be. That it's very obvious in multi platform games.
