Yes they do break again and you probably got a refurb and not your original 360 back. I've had four 360's since launch and the 4th one is so far hanging on pretty well the other 3 had the red rings of light (death in these cases) and were sent to Texas for repair. I can only think that heat was the factor into the demise of the 3 Xbox's I had to send back?? Check your 360 serial no. on the back as it'll not be the same as the one on your original warranty but that's OK as MS update the serial no. on your warranty to the current 360 they sent back.
