@xcael: No, it's not fine at all, imo. The only games in which microtransactions are even remotely acceptable (and I say that with great reluctance) are free to play. If they are charging $60, or the equivalent standard fee for the game, you shouldn't have to extensively grind or break down and invest further real money to access the content you've already paid for.

Don't let this last minute grasping at straws fool you from seeing the keyword in all these statements surrounding the microtransactions.... temporary, aka they are going back in once the outrage has died down, probably sometime next month.

This is as much a Disney issue as it is EA, and that's the reason Star Wars (as Lucas and all old school fans knew it) is dead. Doesn't really matter who Disney hands control of the IP even if they walk away from EA because the lore material used for most of the good SW video games was retconned.

The show appears to be setting up Jon to be king. Dany is exposing why her bid to rule is gonna fail. Baking the Tarlys was too much like her father. Drogon recognizing Jon's blood is the beginning of the end for her big power play.

Assuming Bran reveals Jon's true origins, and Sam and Gilly play their part in this, Jon Snow is the legitimate son of crown prince Rhaegar. He's the rightful heir to the throne, and he'll have the allegiance of both the North and Targaryen loyalists behind him.

Not to mention the whole 'prince that was promised' thing. The journey beyond the wall could be the beginning of its fulfillment. I think Dany will be the one bending the knee to Jon... in more ways than one, lol.

@nabinator: It started early access in March I believe. I don't think it's been officially released yet.

@iandizion713: Or, you know... Nintendo can actually provide an adequate HD when selling a console. Believe it or not, some people (even those with jobs) don't like to pay extra for something just for the hell of it.
