Look here dude, I'm not saying your wrong, I don't know when the console is coming out...nobody but Sony and MS (if even them) knows that for sure. I was just saying what Hirai stated, which implied that he was perfectly willing to wait for the Xbox to be detailed so his R&D team can dissect it...for the same purpose they did last gen. Also, Digital Foundry had an article just a couple days ago (well after CES) that suggested from sources that both system could be delayed into 2014 due to hardware production issues, the PS4 into late 2014. Point is, there is no confirmation yet. Only speculation, one source of which I quoted was the CEO of Sony. I would think he would have the most credibility.

Yes PC has better multi-plats but...they don't get the better multi-plat support. See: The games I listed that aren't on PC, in addition to games that are coming out this year like Injustice and GTA IV.

Based on that graphic, PC does have (once again) the most exclusive titles this year. But it (once again) will not have the best quality exclusivestitles this year. Some of those PC exclusives will be cancelled and many of them are indie-developed, games that are also exclusively on the XBLA and PSN that I didn't list either (except for Journey, though there was a retail release). Clear cut case of quality over quantity.
Of course you can't play 64 person MP on Battlefield 3 on consoles or mod Skyrim. This a known advantage of PC, in addition to multi-plat quality. But console also has advantages...which you have attempted to downplay with your 'handful of exclusives' comment.
Digital games subjects users to digital right limitations. People are opposed to a wholly digital future because of the latter. I have no problem with digital titles if your rights and access to that medium was not limited as with physical media. For all the good that XBLA, PSN, and Steam have done...that is one glaring flaw that prevents intelligent consumers (especially in this economy) from embracing, and Nintendo Network's architecture is a representation of the worst a completely digital future could be for the common gamer.
That article is 20 hours old...get up to speed on what exactly? I said I wasn't saying they had time to make changes. I know they have devkits out. I'm just telling you what the company that is making the console you say will be out before the next Xbox is saying on the subject. Its contradicting your earlier point about Sony wanting its console out before Microsoft's. No need to get defensive...
You're not correct. The CEO said himself that they will wait to check the next Xbox's specs and prepare based on that information. This is straight from their mouth dude.

Bad move by Sony. I can virtually guarantee that if they follow through on this, the other consoles will choke them to death this gen. They'll probably go to the lengths of making their UIs replete with ads for used game outlets like GameStop and Amazon...lol. I don't what Sony is thinking with this, they better really make sure their other division can carry them through all customers they are going to lose to other platforms.
Despite a lot of Americans owning guns and supporting the NRA, there is a lot more gamers in this country (and the world for that matter) than gun owners. We'll easily outlast them and it would far more difficult for the government to regulate video games or any other form of mass media than it is to institute stricter gun control laws. Lord knows special interest groups have been trying to for years...
