WiC is amazing fun for the first month... after that it's one of the most repetitive boring predictable games around. Especially if you play a single role for competitive play.

that psu won't support a quad core and an 8800. no way in hell. get at LEAST 600W if you aren't overclocking. but quad core will tear any duo up in quad-supported applications. and about building your own computer... it's really REALLY not that hard. if you follow guides online and aren't an idiot in general the only real "problems" you will have are defective parts. a faulty psu, mobo or processor can cause a headache but that's why there is such a forgiving return policy on computer outlet sites. so i say expand your horizons and build your own pc because it really is cheaper and will teach you about the pc so you won't have to call the indian tech support line for every little problem.

just pray to god that people can come up with mods. this would be a sick game for modding. theres your everlasting replayability a la Oblivion. im glad there's no multiplayer because this game would totally suck for multiplayer not to mention completely ruin the immersion. the game is more of an artistic masterpiece than a game to be played in cyber league tournaments. there are certain games for multiplayer. it's developed the old school way. its about art, story, immersion, and gameplay. its the first one to do so in a very long time and i am insanely excited. haven't seen a game this brave since half life 1.

uninstall, then if you reallly have to, reinstall it. if that doesnt work... please please please consider using another ISP. unless you use it for dial-up connection which is turning into the minority these days.

in FEAR the things that really got me in fear were those cloaked weird monkey like things that could run like 100 mph and have the slightest bit of sound and they appeared right before you acting like theyre having seizures. after you get used to the cues for scary scripted events like the radio and knocked over doo dads they throw those things at you and they creeped me the hell out.

guild wars is an MMO by all means. is it a persistent world? no. is it massively multiplayer? yep. online? yep! RPG? yep!!! M.M.O.R.P.G. it really depends on who you are. if you like lots and lots of people and flexibility to do what you want, I'd go with WoW. if you're a bargain gamer looking to blow some time til the summer is over then go play Runescape and get your fix. if you are a hardcore player looking for a challenge and better combat/party system than WoW, go with FFXI. i haven't played guild wars that much honestly but it seems to cater to gamers who like MMO combat but dont want the fee. my favorite of all of them is probably WoW for its accesiblity, freedom of choice (until endgame), and universe.

[QUOTE="Luminouslight"]Couldn't you just make those yourself by using explorer and making a short cut out of the app?Andrew0987

I already did. I am just curious as to why it didn't do it automatically.

because vista has a games category and it was placed in there. start -> games is below the music on the right bar of the start menu. only certain games do this because they were made with vista in mind.
