you are really going to judge directx10 AND vista based on how a game made in directx9 originally, not even for the pc, for XBOX, gets ported to the pc and gets a few dx10 features slapped on to demonstrate some new features? of course the performance will suck, its a pc port! of course it won't look much better, dx9 was used originally. dx10 is not being used yet to its (current) potential. once crysis comes out then we can all judge how crappy it is.
