I accept Nintendo for what they are at this point. As someone who is finally learning to grow past games, Nintendo is there to open up our imagination at the early stages of growth. Kids nowadays need Nintendo to maintain their current identity. If you really want Nintendo to contribute to the gaming industry, then give your kids the classics. Give them a Wii U and a 3DS to introduce them to gaming. Nintendo is the approachable side to gaming. Once in awhile they will throw us a bone like Fire Emblem or a mature Zelda. I'd prefer that anway. I mean, look at the 'themes' and 'content' of video games we have today. Call of Duty? Sim City? Madden? Assassin's Creed? They had creativity at one point in time, but they all became stagnant as well. Nintendo is the only video game company I know that understands the important of BALANCE in game design. They don't force content down your throat. They don't try to trick you into buying a product. Just a pure, unbiased company that makes games to create free-thinking individuals. Not a gaming company that makes games to milk the consumer for all of their money via yearly installments.

it isn't considered nostalgia if Nintendo is selling to a new generation of Zelda fans. Kids are just getting a differently coated Zelda game is all.

It's sad that the gaming world is run by tech junkies. It sucked the intelligence out of video games and replaced it with visual muscle. It's sad that you make games to make money instead of make games to teach people valuable life lessons. Another company that lost their way =(

Another possibility is that these males feel like they were lied to. They go to college, they will have a wife and healthy family, steady home, etc. When in reality they were used by women, entered a job force that doesn't want them, and forced into a corner where they have no future. I for one have these feelings all the time, but I'm not going to shoot up a school over it. I just create a job for myself instead.

There's many angles. All I know is, these are angry boys who were alienated or neglected by the world, and these are their response for pushing them into a corner with no hope.

@SuperNovaftw @shadowriku3 It's a tad early for 4k. If PC can't do it for the mainstream PC gaming audience...then why the consoles? That and I think they should at least push for the Retina-ish display (2k res). It will set a healthy bar for this console generation.

@howie1926 I agree. They promised a 10 year console cycle, and it has only been 7 years so far. They can easily wait until Q4 2014 to bring them out.
