@Zombie8814: yeah, the pacing of the game is really close to perfect. I remember how it constantly threw me in to something totally awesome over and over right before something could have started to feel dragged out. damnit I love this game..

@evilace_stealth: and sorry if I'm perhaps being a bit diffuse here. just to be clear, I didn't enjoy the game. I know I leave some room for doubt but no, didn't like it. ME2 is my favourite game ever btw.

just give all the people who bought this game their money back. we can all agree to pretend it never happened. get the folks who actually worked on the original trilogy back and tell EA you need time to make a finished game.

so, you've never been the best at facial animations. hire some people who knows this and can make your games up to 2017 standards. fire all writers who worked on andromeda. they're fresh out of writing school, they'll survive.

think about why the game needs to be open world. if you find a good reason, make it open world - don't just do it because you want to make a open world game, we only want to play those if they make sense for the story. if you're gonna have a car, it has to behave better, it can't just stop completely once the uphill degree hits a certain threshold. switching driving-modes isn't fun. games can be fun, let's try to make them fun, ok?

now for the new mass effect game that will come in a couple of years when we've forgotten about this one. don't write a character like peebee. she only says the same thing all the time. no matter when or where you talk to her, she makes sure we haven't missed the point about how restless she is. a character can have more than one dimension. also, they tend to be more interesting if they're not wearing their personality written in all caps in their foreheads while they're constantly repeating what's written there. MY GOD the characters in this game is flat.. so. thanks in advance.

and yeah, speaking of it. don't give ALL the characters you meet the same reason for joining the andromeda initiative.

and the andromeda initiative. I thought that it might be a more interesting reason behind it other than... they just wanted a really long trip!?

so weird.

also. there's a looooot of people in andromeda from the milky way that has build a loooooot of bases on a looooot of planets. and you're working hard to save "tens of thousands of people". that's not a lot of people.. but. yeah. no it makes no sense to me. if there wasn't way more people on the nexus. but on the nexus people are still in cryo pods. ..and why did they need the arcs then?

so yeah. for the next game. no andromeda please.

that said! I think it can actually be great. everyone wants to know about the first contact war. I'd say start there. the milky way is good enough. and really, really, really big as it is.

good luck dear company that has the name BioWare but hasn't made a game before.

@Atzenkiller: what are you talking about. lots of games do this. and If I remember correctly, even MEA does this for SOME cutscenes. it's nothing complicated, they just didn't have time to finish the game. this is one of the things that wasn't fixed along with a long list of other things.

Ok, found a solution. Mute the sound of the trailer and play "Uncharted Worlds" from the original soundtrack of the first game in the background.

nice to see the landship getting some improvements. it has the most amazing design but you never saw them on the field really. also they're really fun to drive with friends but the heavy tank always ended up as a better choice - since it was just ..better.

the patch looks good in general.

@dariomeznari: I think what I like about Battleborn so far is that it feels like playing a match. Like sport almost. Teamwork is important for a lot of MP shooters but here you have your set strategies in a way and it's about perfecting that strategy. Hold that line, support that character, buy that turret etc. Should we rush with all mercenaries and bigger minions at the same time or just keep the pressure up by sendning them one at the time.. And so on. But you have to like that kind of gameplay, if you prefer solo-flanking to take out a whole team you won't be able to do it in Battleborn. If you like pushing the frontline back closer and closer to the enemy base, Battleborn is a dream. I just played a little bit of the Overwatch beta and damn the controls and gameplay is polished - looks amazing too, no doubt that game has more thought and time in developement, but it still didn't really do it for me. When I played the Battleborn beta for the first time I felt completely "f***k yeah, this feels fresh!".

And I do enjoy that the screen can turn into a rave on party-drugs at moments.

Also the leveling system on the fly. Sure you can become more powerful by already doing well but at the same time. Support the team by building stuff and killing minions and you level up pretty quickly yourself. Like the trade off between gear activation with the shards and the XP you get from spending shards on buildables. I think the system works really well as long I don't meet Rath with his "ulti" unlocked when you have two levels to go until you have your. Damn I hate Rath.

Did I mention how much I love having Rath on my team with his stun and slow-specials?
