How can you expect such features from a system that doesn't even let you watch dvds

Nintendo consoles have been very focused and im not saying its bad it just is, look at the DS compared to the PSP for example...

IMO games are getting worse, 3rd party devs found out that making cheap, shallow games or ports are selling well on the wii, look at its library (you dont even have to compare it to anything else) the games hardly achieve an 8 some of the games that do are multiplats where the wii version is the worse, like CoD: WaW wich i bought for wii and im very disapointed to get a bad copy of the ps360 version. Aparently the only one that can make decent games for wii is nintendo and all they do is rehash the same formula of its games over and over, look at mario kart for example or ever worse the wiimakes of old games

the game library is getting worse by the second. When i bought wii(before my ps3 and 360) i had a lot of hope for games like red steel or wii sports or racing games but most of them where so bad i mean look at the launch titles FFS!

So basically my opinion is wiimakes + shovelware + few spaced good 1st party = BAD

Well then i guess ill go on with my life and watch it get crushed by the other platforms,well remember them for the good old days when we freaked out when we got our N64 on Christmas

Maybe wii2 will be as good as a 360 and we will see some zelda in hd with worlds as big as Oblivion

And what do we know they are doing? i know The Conduit is coming and Madworld but not really nintendo efforts are they?

The latest "hit" they did was wii music and i dont think thats even a game... i havent heard of anything else, i know monster hunter 3 is coming to the wii but by now i wish it was done in Ps3 cuz i can't stand another mediocre waggle/adventure game

I would settle for a very good fzero or maybe something like DK64 maybe a crazy Devil may cry like game? maybe with multiplayer? i think DMC would have awsome gameplay on wii with the slashing and shooting

But anyway let me know if the best that is coming is another wii sports

Make no mistake here i own the three consoles and i dont consider myself a fanboy of any kind i've hyped to no more heroes, gears of war and metalgear solid

In fact the wii was the 1st console i ever got cuz i believe gamplay > graphics but i find myself playing Gears2, Metal gear online, Little big planet, left 4 dead and Killzone 2 right now (incredible game) and i just wish there was something that appealing on the wii, and im not saying graphically but the addrenaline and addictive fun i get from this other titles

Im not sure if the developers realize that the wii very popular and maybe developing games of the category of the mentioned above will make em win the big bucks ... maybe if people so desperate would just stop buying all this shovelware would send a message...

Any way i hope the wii gets a better year or mine its going to keep on rusting next to its console bros

I believe his point is that he is disapointed of the graphics in Wii games we are getting because they dont have the quality you would expect from the wi's graphical capabilities in general. We would expect most of wii games to look as good as SMG or SSBB. And for the case of HotD 2&3... i mean seriously who is cosidering to buy this?! not only its old and lame. On rail shooters are lame for home consoles IMO... this game is embarasing...

Why do people want better graphics?? I am satisfied with Gamecube's graphics, its good and the wii is better but 360 and PS3 are way too much

There is no such thing as way too much graphics.. in technology there should be imporvement, i mean the smash bros melee released around 7 years ago has better graphics than most of Wii games today

COD4 is my favorite. Halo 3 is boring for me because COD4 is so much fun. I only play Halo 3 when my friends want to play it with me. Gears of War is my second favorite online game out of that list you gave me. Gears of War has a lot of lag but is still fun. Spartans_317

QFT, i mean seriously... COD4 is by far the most fun and diverse. Gears is very exciting but the lag and the lack of games is the down side.. Halo i also only play when some of my friends want to play but i find it really slow and without action... its a game for true fans
