How much did that cost?

So lookign to buy a new comp after my current one blew up the other night. I have got about £800 to spend.

What is the best pc i can get for this? I will be buyign the parts individually and building myself and i only requite the core system as i already have screen and speakers etc.

Whats the best i can get? Ideally want 4 gig ram and a nvidia gtx 260.

Ive got a pc. Amd opteron 3GHZ 2gig ram etc. Drivers for my 7800gtx were working fine but after i got the nf4 problem i tired reinstallign the latest 7800gtx drivers but when i did the screen just immideiately goes black and windows would no longer work. Only way to get visual display and windows xp pro to work again is booting into safe mode and uninstalling drivers. I did install an old set of 7800gtx drivers that when installed did not cause my screen to go black but the screen went like saturation was turned up to 100% and no way to lower it so unsable. So i have just been using my comp without and drivers for my card.

Nope i have tried about 10 times already so its definitely not the drivers fault.
