I just got Path of Neo in this week from e-bay. I'll be playing that, if I find any time to play at all. I also have my Eye Toy : Kinetic work out to do.

There is a game where you run for president. I can't remember the name of it though. I can't think of one where you are president though.

I find it funny that you make a thread to warn us about viruses, then you give us a link to an unfamiliar site without telling us anything about it.

No way I'm clicking that.

I have to admit, that same thought popped in my head.

Just some thoughts; - I havn't played many fps's based on real wars, but in my limited experience there's not much history going on there, and doesn't capture a lot of what I know some vetrans would describe war as. - If you have an issue with games based on real wars, I think it's a valid point of view to believe that it belittles the reality of war, but I don't see how games based on wars that never happened are any better. I would think that if I were to see the "real war" games in that light, I would think the "fake war" games are still making light of war, it's still about solidiers dying, and making killing fun and exciting. - It's interesting to see how boundries differ from person to person. Some people would say if a game has killing it's wrong. Some would say bring on the death toll! And here's a case where's it's kind of in the middle. It's okay as long as it's as wrapped in fantasy as possible.

I think the ESRB is a great resource, and should be taken into heavy consideration when parents have kids that play video games. No, I don't think that kids are going to grow up wanted to kill people, with violent tendencies, and bad attitudes just because they play violent video games. It's the whole parenting package put together. However, I don't think that parents should be letting 10 year olds playing M rated games. It's still part of the package. I think kids shouldn't make video games their only recreational activity, however I don't see a problem with young children playing appropriate video games either. To me, it's all about balance. Like everything their kids do, I think parents should be involved in what their kids are playing. Parents need to provide guidance (not demands), and ensure their kids know the different between video games, and real life. That games are fun because their fantasy; an escape from real life, and not a reflection of it.

Deus Ex is a few years old now, and it's fantastic. I still enjoy playing it today.

I'd say I prefer scenario-driven gameplay. I don't dislike story-driven gameplay, but I do find it annoying when it feels like I'm watching more cutscenes then I am playing the game.
