@Devils-DIVISION @Warful @DaRq_MiNoS @JumpyLuweegee2 MS's motto is in a constant state of flux, like their policies. If anybody is "Take the money and run," it's Apple. They run straight to the next "improvement" as soon as you buy one of their products. :P
@Warful Doesn't *really* make it any less of a tantrum, though. As a sufferer of pretty rapidly cycling bipolar disorder myself, I can attest to that. :p
Guy really should've allowed himself to have another outlet, though. Internetsraeg isn't really a valid one.
@RustedTruck650 It's much more fluid than DS/DkS in terms of combat. Feels more like an action game (in TW2 anyway, first game had an odd time-based system) than an RPG, but "plays" more like an RPG as it's all about preparation and meeting threats when and where you have the advantage. So yeah, kind of like DS/DkS - less versatility in your main weapons (two categories are steel/silver swords and "other, non-swordy stuff") but tons and tons of craftable trap/bomb/throwing subweapons. Lots of dialogue, but it's set in a universe that was created for novels, mind, and so the story is the main focus, and it's well-written and interesting enough to appeal to even the less talky RPG player.
@H0rizon I've never really seen it as much of a "horror" series in the sense that no, it's not terribly scary. It really relies more on "well, that looked nasty. My cousin Jethro looked the same way after that wood chipper accident. Shit, that's kind of scary, now that I think about it."
@Geminon And they're pretty damn on the ball with bugfixing - Rift is the ONLY MMO I've ever played to the level cap without experiencing any bugs/exploits aside from the occasional clipping geometry. And that was the launch build!
