You mean people who appears as "online now" all day or people who never takes breaks from this site? either way it seems like there's people who you can bet is here no matter the time of the day.
CAD is only good for it's parodies and mocks, the list needs more K.C. Green (horriblevile, cat, gun show) and maybe Patrick Alexander, Nedroid is also a must.

The only problem is that some of them would require almost no text to look good (the ones coordinated with the avatar), other than that they are pretty distinctive I guess.
I wouldn't dismiss crossovers that easily, I mean, everybody would think that a crossover of Final Fantasy with Disney movies would be horrible but it's actually pretty popular and some say great (I haven't played any Kingdom Hearts). "Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Soul Calibur and The Magic School Bus. The story should use Arbor Day as a plot device!" Damn it, forget what I said, this crossover doesn't have a chance of not sucking.
When I was a kid I liked to watch videogames shows even when I didn't had a console, I sometimes played some MS2 games on the pc, the christmass of '98 my parents bought an N64 for me and my brothers and a controller for each of us, then I knew some other kids in my school who also had the same console and we sometimes exchanged games, went to each others houses to play, etc. Good times.
