One HDMI cable transmits both audio and video signal from your 360 to your TV. So if your surround sound system can output sound from your new LG, then you're already set with just your HDMI cable.

If your surround sound system audio reciever isn't setup that way, you could just use the optical audio cable port on the Component cables Microsoft supplied with your 360 to transmit the 5.1 Dolby audio signal. You can get an optical audio cable cheap for $5 online, connect it from your 360's Component cable port (the little black square next to all the video audio wires) to your TV's optical cable input port.

If you're going the latter route you may run into a common problem we all have, that the Component cable interferes with the HDMI port on the 360. In that case, you may find this helpful. Otherwise, if you want to save money, try this free alternative method.

Hope that helped :)

So there you have it, the Wii's worst enemy is a wired Gamecube controller.

Unless I'm mistaken, Microsoft already has a 2-year warantee for RRODs, just remember to register your 360. I don't see why you'd want to spend money on a store warantee, besides convenience and time.

If you don't know what HDMI is, then you're better off without it, in fact, you won't miss a thing. HDMI is a new wire that needs a compatible television port. It combines the video and audio cables into one simple wire, and offers 1080 resolution and 5.1 sound output. One of the few things PS3 had over the 360.

I bought the Pro, I didn't buy a store warantee, and I use component cables even though I have an HDMI-compatible TV. I don't regret anything...so far.

Back then there weren't many other games to talk about, and us simple elementary kids spolied ourselves when OoT came out. Now, there's plenty of games, any of that 'talk' you're missing is now on forums. Older people have access to more things to talk about. We still talk about SMG, but we're not limited to just that.

Not sure if you mentioned that or not because your focus and mines kind of went off-tangent midway through your essay. Also, this is a gaming forum, if you're expecting hundreds of literary prodigies to comment on your compilation of stringed thoughts, think again.

Putting every single assault against you with the "I'm superior, more proficient, and intellegent than all you lame-o's who can't read books worth s*** or even understand a single word I wrote" tactic, isn't unlike being a complete discriminatory jerk. On the other hand, that's always a sure-fire way to extend a topic to 10 pages.

SSBB is a system seller in that the majority of people who either have a Wii or are going to buy a Wii will own one because of the mere fact that SSBB will be on it. If SSBM never existed, SSBB would not as well, and thus less interest in the Wii would result.

WiiFit may or may not be a system seller, depending on certain things.

Con) Casual gamers will be getting this if it is advertised to them effectively, and if they still decide to buy one once they realize that they ALSO HAVE TO BUY (AND FIND) A $250 CONSOLE TO PLAY IT!

Pro) WiiSports came with the Wii, WiiPlay came with a WiiMote. WiiFit comes with a Balance Board. History repeats itself...most of the time.

why do so many people like this game and give it high reviews i have watch gameplay movies of it and i dont really get the point of it it just doesnt apeal to me like other game do?wwedx

WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE pie...

I mean, they make these "mmm" sounds when they put it in their mouths, and they get really happy when they start bitin' the stuff down. They even pay just to have people come and put this stuff on the table, I mean, I don't really get the point it just doesn't make sense?

I've smelt the sweet savory smell of apple and the warm wholesome aroma of crust and seen the banquets of lavish pies in bakeries, but it just doesn't appeal to me like other foods do?

I like steak and ribs, you know, manly foods, this sweet kiddy stuff doesn't cut it. So, just because of the fact that I don't like it, I'm making this thread to people who I obviously know are emamored by these pies and I'm expecting a complete, logical, and coherent response telling me why I, representing the 1.4e-10% of the world, do not like pie.

If there exists such an obscured answer, Broken_Memory gave his little soliloquy back on page 3. Suit yourself...with a Bee Suit! *bzzzzzt*

I think the major selling point for this redition was the fact that there are 70 or so quality mini-games included, not to mention the stand-alone puzzle games, those are always fun.

Good sound, good graphics, and good replay value, and the fact that 1 cartridge takes care of 4 players, that is truely something.

Had Nintendo implemented lag-free online this game would have been as closest the DS'll ever get to Brawl on the Wii, well, in America at least (talking about you UJS).

May consider picking this one up, but then again there's a good chance a buddy will...
