People bought 1080p T.V to play games at 1080p not 900p or 720p right?

One of the big reason is that Europe do not like micro transactions while Xbox One mostly focus on micro transactions.

One more thing to add is that Steam Summer Sale will also damage Batman Arkham Knight Sale.

Witcher 3 alone sold 0.52 Million on Steam.This does not count GOG, retail, Nvidia Code, GMG and e.t.c.All the retail,codes, 3rd party seller code activated on GOG so GOG sold more than Steam.

It is like this PS4>PC>Xbox One in term of game sale figures.

Today i looked at VGA charts and i feel like Xbox One sales totally disappointing compare to PC for example

This is just a example because their are many other games that PC out sold Xbox One in terms of sale like GTA V Xbone owners are 2.7 million whereas PC owners more than 4 million.

I can be wrong though and Note that their are also many private account on steam which are uncounted like 10% to 15%.
