@interabangent @interabangent  Not sure if you have any more keys, but I have had experience on many different betas/alphas and would be happy to give you some feedback :) It's a feat to get a game completed full stop, and I think it's great that you're actively updating it!

@armyown $75 includes a controller and a play and charge, so its $15 for a play and charge. That is worth it, IMO.

@jophy @delboywalker The point is not to make a profit, its to cut the cost of completed games. My method, while not perfect, means that the devs still get money while having the used game market. This is similar to retail. You can't expect to make a profit when trading in a game to Gamestop, so why should you expect a profit trading in to Steam?

@taker3434 @delboywalker But does it really matter? If people sell their game via the Steam market, which should be the only way to sell, the devs still get support, and Valve still makes money. Its all digital, like you say, so whether it is new or used makes no difference, as you get exactly the same product. Maybe the percentages should be lowered for the consumer even more, so the percentage to the devs remains the same as if they bought it new.

Don't forget that the people selling the games would sell it at a rate which they are willing to sell it at. If they want to sell it for a dollar, good for them, but they only get $0.30 out of it, for a product which costed them $60. People aren't stupid, and will make sure their price is competitive to get the best return possible.

How about this: person buys game on Steam. Person completes game. Person wants to sell the game. They put it on the market, the same system as the trading cards. They set the price they want to sell it at, but only get 30% of the price added to their wallet. Then, 50% of the overall cost goes to the devs, and 20% to Valve.

People won't buy any game on the market that is more expensive than what can be bought on the storefront, so sales can keep going. Indie companies are still supported, Valve makes more money, and the trader gets a too low percentage for them to make a real profit, but enough to justify getting rid of the game for a few quid.

@GaMEQB11 People do this anyway. On steam, you can get games in your inventory, and can purchase as many as you want. This new system won't change that.

@tormentos @delboywalker I said basically :P This, GTA 4 and a few others got 10's but I still disagree that any game is perfect in every way. Anyways, I can't comment on whether the 8 is too low or high for this game because I haven't played it, but I'm betting that a good 70% of the complainers also haven't played it.

Why are people acting like an 8 is a terrible score? If you look at the word below the 8, what does it say? It says 'great.' Therefore, it is a 'great' game. Geddit? Anyways, Gamespot basically never give out tens, because no game is perfect. Give me a game which is perfect in every regard, then I'll accept that its ten out of ten.

@Sakuban @delboywalker @Kookooburra I must have been looking at the wrong profile then. Odd, but possible. I apologise for my mistake.
