@Slade968 This would make it more competitive next-gen but my PS4 is already pre-ordered I won't be the only one who's in this position. Strange this, he basically started a mob by making comments his employer obviously didn't want in the public domain and was sacked (or it was suggested he pack up his desk discreetly) for it! Surely his always online comment seems even more hypocritical now as he is speaking on how destructive the online community is.....I maybe missing something but I really can't see what this guy can add to this event as he's played it from all sides and lost his job, how much credit can he have?
Not really shocked at this, the US market was always going to have a large demand for XBOX One. This is not suggesting that all US gamers will want the XBOX One! It is Microsofts home market though, doubtful it will see the same about of activity in the EU/Asia markets with some countries unable to purchase/play games on day one. Personally more interested in the PS4 and have one on pre-order loved the indie games and think Sony is looking to this sector for future AAA talent also after seeing what Naughty Dog have managed on PS3 can't wait to see what they can do on a more developer friendly system. As a side note I have a house move at the end of the year and would not be happy having discs and hardware which would be useless until BT hooked up my broadband. Granted this is an equal dig at Microsoft and BT!!
I've been fortunate and not had to pick and choose my consoles, always had one of each gens variants, still own my Dreamcast, Saturn and a lovely custom N64, as well asall this gens units! The thing is the Wii U just doesn't excite me (at all!) Sure it will have the great Nintendo IPs but nothing else, lovely tablet controller but I just don't care about it! Yeah personal choice, each to there own! But bit of an issue when Nintendo offer nothing new except a controller! Could do worse than following Sega, and opening up the market to a new contender! (Valve maybe)
@bloody-hell There are very few people I would offer benefit of the doubt, del Toro is in there though, he can tell a story and has an eye for visuals just needs the right collaboration!
Would love it to be CD Projekt RED, can't see it but would be worthy! Short of that BioWare and Valve, we can but hope! Outside bet the company that told the best story in 2012 Telltale! Publisher will be well established though
@Cypress131 I agree to an extent, does it show responsibility If the parents were concerned why buy the game the first time round? However if it is about parents feeling this is a way to make a stand and be more involved with their children I am all for it. The concern seems to be a lack of interest when making the purchase and in the children's interests before a an incident like this occurs.
Great way to get rid of all of your outdated sports games you can't trade in anywhere else, and be able to get a free lunch! People who don't understand something always fear it, let them get on with it. It won't affect anyone with any common sense, other than a free meal for FIFA '10
