So if the DSLite is still under warranty, Nintendo will fix the cracked hinge for free?

[QUOTE="wooooode"][QUOTE="Wintry_Flutist"]Shigeru Miyamoto: "Twilight Princess is the last Zelda as we know it"._vacant_
That statement was made before it was annonced for the Wii, I think they are talking about the controls the Wii will bring the franchise.

no, in fact they were talking about the first zelda game to be built from the ground up for the wii. would be a departure from what we're used to in TP and previous games

No, they were talking about Zelda Wii, which then became the Twilight Princess port. The last Zelda 'as we know it' was Twilight Princess for Gamecube, as it was the last to use the traditional button controls. Twilight Princess Wii and Phantom Hourglass are both using different control schemes, and the new Zelda Wii will most likely be similar to Twilight Princess except with much more diverse motion sensor controls. As for First Person Zelda, they had a Beta video of that at GDC, and it didn't seem to work very well.

Nothing much ever happens at the GDC except sales talk.tomarlyn
In 2005 the second trailer for Twilight Princess was unveiled. In 2006 the first trailer for Phantom Hourglass was unveiled. From a Zelda point of view, I think this year's GDC is more than capable of revealing some key information. Hopefully a new trailer for PH or something will be shown.

[QUOTE="dee_unlm1t3d"]Suggestion! Just put the topic title as The Official Legend of Zelda Topic Ver 2.

Anyways. I want to know whats the chronological history of Zelda.(Not when it was produced, but game timeline. Like Did OOT happened before A Link to the Past?) Or all Zelda games, but OOT, MM, and WW, takes place in alternate universe?
O-ZoneX

trust me. You don't even wanna start on the timeline cuz it's just all over the place. EX: WW takes place after OOT but says nothing about MM. So where's Majora(MM) come in?? It's just all over the place.

Actually, I've heard a really good theory about that which takes into consideration the "Multi-Timeline" aspect. People are arguing that in the end of OoT, Link was returned to his formerself and sent back to the his original time (Timeline A). But just because a character returns to the past (as Link has done over and over), does Time itself seize to exist? Since the 7 years had already taken place, Timeline B is created. The theory is that in Timeline A Link is returned to his child form, goes to Termina for MM, and continues his adventures. Decades later, Link still in Termina, possibly dead, Twilight Princess takes place. As for Timeline B, Ganon breaks free of the seal and as it is stated, people wait for the hero to come, but he doesn't appear (he's in another time). So therefore the Godesses drown Hyrule, WW takes place. WW can be seen as a branch off of Timeline A which is probably the timeline where other LoZ games take place later on. Now we can find a loop hole like "So wait. That means Link created many branches off the timeline in MM by playing the song of time over and over. What happened to those times?" My guess is that they were crushed by the moon, still though not seizing to exist. The reason WW says nothing about MM is the fact that WW makes a direct connection to MM, and Link's Adventure in Termina has no real purpose to the events of the WW.
