Get WW. The change in graphic style changes EVERYTHING. TP is a better game, IMO-longer, harder, more engrossing-but WW has a really great style, great reaction based combat and one of the most sinister endings ever!
Wind waker is more fun to me. there is more to do in WW. The story is great and sailing is extremely exciting for me. Probably because I'm a pirate who wants booty.
I rather play OoT than TP. So Wind Waker. But really, I think that the Zelda games are getting repetitive. Oh well I love OoT, and maybe I should stop playing Zelda.
Wind Waker has a short main quest but has tons of sidequests. Twilight Princess is much longer but after you finish it there isn't much to do. It's up to you to decide.
It's a hard choice but I would go with TP I just got it and I'm enyoing it already even more than ww that's also because of the sailing which became annoying
TP by far. It is more epic and has a medevil time feel to it. It feels like a true adventure. In TP you basically go the hell, underwater, a city sky, where the dead reside, snow mountains. Horseback combat, sumo wrestling, better sword fighting. TP is basically way better than TWW, which IMO is the worst 3-D Zelda ever and I dont dig the graphic style.
In TWW you just sail around, which was boring and I never bothered to finish it.
Twilight Princess all the way. I thought Wind Waker looked and was really bad. I have twilight princes now I and I pulled 2 all nighters playing it in the first 4 days. I stoped for a while, but I started again yesterday. It is fantastic.
Honestly, I found The Windwaker to be the better game. TP was a huge disappointment and it did very little if anything to move the series forward. It brought nothing new to the table. I at least had some enjoyment out of TWW for bringing some new ideas to the table. TP however had one disappointing moment after another.
Get Twilight Princess. Everything seems bigger and epic, and everything is beautiful and magnificent(the landscapes in TP remind me of the ones in lotr). I liked the characters and the storyline in TP better than in windwaker.

Wind Waker is one of the best, if not the best, Zelda games. The game is very polished. It also returns to the exploration factor that really hasn't been done since the first Zelda. The only complaint, and it's minor, was having to play the little song every time I wanted to change the direction of the wind. On the plus side, you can probably pick this up for $20 or less. Twilight Princess is good, but it's a "more of the same" title. It's pretty linear, and IMO it's pretty boring graphically. It's a game worth owning, but I hope the next Zelda game isn't like TP.
My friend has WW and I have TP. I say if you want to get a game with a little more variety, buy TP(probably because you can be a wolf, which adds a twist and new content.) But buy WW, if you want a game that will last you longer, but has an enjoyable experience. But it narrows down to opinion.
Well I like TP more than WW, but WW is still a great game, one of the best on the cube. But since you don't want to play a game that is similar to OoT then I would suggest WW for you...TP is pretty similar to OoT.
twilight princess is better in about everyway, except you cant sail in it. the sailing gets old after about an hour though. so get tp. if you like tp, get ww.
I enjoyed WW much more than TP (couldn't make myself play past 6-7 hours). WW style was somehow both light hearted and epic and it felt so refreshing to play a game that wasn't dark and depressing but still felt epic. TP wears the Zelda formula to thin and can't compare to other games with similiarly mature styles.
Wind waker is better in almost all parts, TP tries to do too much at once, and kinda ends up failing. WW's got the bosses, the story, and the memorable characters as well as one of the best (as far as design goes) temples ever (Wind). So yeah, WW.
