"number of initiatives" could mean something much more probable... like an exclusive R* game (L.A. Noir).

c0mplex

That's a pretty good assumption. The Rockstar website lists LA Noir as a PS3 exclusive.

Do you remember the Xbox 360 at eight months? Let's recall all the awesome games in that time... uh... there was... we played... hmm... Dead Or Alive (launch title)... you're right the PS3 is off much worse with Motorstorm and Resistance. The first great game for X360 didn't come until a year after it's launch. By the PS3's anniversary it'll have Uncharted, Liar, and (hopefully) MGS4 (and that's just in terms of exclusives)

The shooting system for San Andreas was borrowed from Manhunt, I think we can expect a hand to hand combat system borrowed from The Warriors and/or Bully.

Just Wait...For all those PS3 fanboys. Wait until...Wait until. I don't care about how you think FFXIII is going save the PS3 a year and a half from now when it comes out. I want to play games now...Not get a system and have it has a paperweight...or in this case a door stopper

Acenso

What the hell does that have to do with anything!

It's a good idea to just browse through the games list on gamespot you can find some real gems that way. (that's how I found out about Lego Star Wars... I LOVE Lego Star Wars). Action Games are cake to find, theirs some great ones out there that you probably never even bothered to look at before but might really love.

The Metal Gear Solid series are my favorite video games of all time.

Stories: Great, sometimes dips into wtf territory but enthralling nonetheless and told through hetherto graphically unmatched cutscenes

Gameplay: INCREDIBLE, never before has a video game had more of an organic feel than MGS 2 & 3, best stealth action game ever concieved

I know i'm not going to convince you, since you hate such a work of art.  Go play with greased back hair no variety/replay value Sam Fisher now and stop posting such garbage.

[QUOTE="functioningbadl"]The PS3 has been proven to be a very powerful machine, just look at what it did for the Folding Project. shalashaska88

Er, whats Folding project?

uhhh folding @ home client, as in protein folding, as in networking PS3's across the world to create processing power of historical perportions.

In 2006 I discovered the true multimedia capabilities of my PSP and haven't put it down for months, even when I'm not playing some friggin awesome games (Daxter, MGS: PO) I'm subscribing to podcasts, listening to music, or even watching Batman: The Movie (a la Adam West). So if you know what you're doing you should get a PSP and if you're an idiot who can't play 3D games, probably owns a Mac, and can't put music onto an MP3 Player without syncing it to a computer program then the Nintendo DS is for you.
