Yes definitely. 360 uses PC-like architechture and is much easier to develope and optimize for, which is why we've seen games looking better at first. By the end of this year alone PS3 will have a graphical advantage that will keep growing and growing as the hardware is learned and dev kits become better. The standard HDD and Blu-ray alone allow for large advantages over 360.

Dreamcast vs. PS2 in 2000 was prettymuch the same situation of the PC-like Dreamcast hardware having games looking much better with superior effects .... but by the end of 2001 PS2 had completely outclassed it. PS3 vs 360 isn't going to be quite that big of a separation but as the years go by PS3 games will get massively better than current ones, while 360 games really will have peaked at GeOW and Mass Effect.

there really shouldn't be an argument as PS3 is more powerful in everyway just developers aren't harnessing the power. In a year or 2 the 360 will peak and PS3 shall rule the skies.

(I'm not being biased or fanboyish it's just the facts, ps3 canprocess more faster)

It's got the most potential, but the largest learning curve development-wise imo. six months in it's looking rather good, and we got probably 60 more months to cover until we're done.

I'll leave it at that :)

 Oh boy not this old argument again. DO SOME RESEARCH! Yes the playstation 3 is more powerful, but the 360 can do things the PS3 can not do. One for instance is that it can use more shaders by up to twice as many as the PS3 can but it will lag in the polys insanely bad. 360 is a shared architecture, PS3 is not, so if you do all the math and try to balance all the shaders, polys and other junk you will never get it to equal the PS3's power, but at least the 360 has some abilities that can make it match the PS3. You will never see this difference though.

The quick and short of it is this. You download a client to the PS3 that allows a company to use your PS3 to crunch data for them while it sits idle. They send out little bits of these problems to everyone that agrees to this, the PS3 runs the numbers for them, and than send solutions back. It's essentially the same as SETI@home explained here:
