I'm struggling to get the "100 Chainsaw Kills" achievement. I'm positive i've done more than 100, yet the achievement hasn't unlocked.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

For me, Act 4 was the best. I just think the fire fights and the set piece action was best in that act. Act 3 whilst being a great show piece graphically, was spoiled by the Lambient Wretches....I hated those things, especially on Insane.

The video were General RAAM stabs the Delta Team Leader at the end of Act 1 was superb!! :D

Act 3 is probably the hardest act also, whilst Act 1 is the easiest.

Personally I would go for Goldeneye over PD, just because I preferred the licensed James Bond action. It would be great tho, to see either of these titles appear on XBLA, but as has been said a few times previous....i very much doubt either of these will see the light of day on the service for a number of reasons. :(

Aslong as the finished product is as good as everyone wants it to be, then the delay/wait for it is going to be something we will all have to live with.

Hey Dude,

I think I have had this problem as well. I just took it for granted that it was me having been too rough with the disc, but my Gears of War cracked at the top and not the bottom and then it wouldn't play anymore. Luckily I was able to swap it for another copy of the game, but its interesting that you have had the same issue.

There is still a very good chance that it was my fault, but I don't remember ever being overly heavy with it when handling it and I generally tend to look after my stuff really well.

When I put the disc into my console after it cracked, it would just throw an error saying "this disc needs cleaning or is damaged."

However, the fact that it hasn't happened to any of my other games, leads me to believe I must have damaged it myself when taking it or putting it back into the box/console. :(

Anyways, I hope you figure it out!!

I'm going to put myself out there and say Liberty City. I think it will be bigger than the original map in GTAIII but with lots of memorable areas. The option to travel to San Andreas and Vice City would be a great addition also and would no doubt make this the greatest GTA ever.

Hi Galvatron,

I have been reading some of your posts on the forums regarding HDTV setups and you seem to be a bit of a genius!!

I was hoping that you may have the answer to my problem, and was wondering if you could possibly answer my question.

I have recently purchased an LCD HD-Ready TV, but open getting it home, noticed that this TV only has an DVI-I connector on the back. Having purchased the Premium Pack console I only have the RED, GREEN & BLUE HD Connectors that come with the console. If I buy the Xbox 360 VGA Cable, will that plug into the DVI-I slot and allow me to utilise the HD capabilities of the console?

Currently I have this great TV and Gears of War, but I'm having to play it all in Standard Def!!

Please Help

You're not out of luck. Just buy the MS official VGA cable for the 360 and then buy a VGA to DVI converter dongle (first link below) and you're set. Again, not to beat a dead horse but there are plenty of other (more expensive) places to buy this converter but don't be fooled, the one below not only is inexpensive but will fill your needs.

If you want to skip buying the VGA cable altogether, you can buy a component to DVI converter dongle (second link below) and this should work as well. A small warning, I've never seen this converter work in person so your mileage may vary and the safe and recommended route would probably be to get the 360's VGA cable.

Hi Galvatron,

One quick question.

Is this adapter you recommended neccessary? I have been reading the specifications of my TV set and I have noticed the following statement.

"It has a VGA input too, which receives the signal from your PC so you can use it as a TV and a PC monitor. A set of side jacks has a composite A/V input with S-video, a mini headphone jack, and an audio in for using the TV's speakers with your PC."

Does this mean that the VGA cable could plug straight into the DVI-I connector on my LCD TV?

Thanks
