@butternut86 i honestly havent found the game repetitive. yes every mission is you going in and shooting everything.... but who cares? its a shooter.... every shooter is you just going around shooting everything.
really dont understand this reveiw.... i think the game is a lot of fun.
also... crucible is the same halo-ey fun that you would expect from bungie, so i cant imagine why the game wont be played for a long time.
destiny gets slammed for being repetitive... yet some of the original halo games get praised for being amazing? halo 1 is literally just a corridor shooter with zero story whatsoever.... halo 2 is hardly any better. halo 3 does a bit different but the story is still almost non existent. i really dont know what people were expecting from destiny beyond a competent mutliplayer shooter.
cant believe they are showing this game in this state. it is clear that the game isnt even remotely ready to be shown off. i mean look a the art assets. the game isnt even visually complete, let alone the animations and mechanics.
@liquidbutter female fighters are just as detailed as the men.... the ring girls are on the screen for all of 2 seconds. they arent going to have the model detail of the fighters.

this entire paragraph isnt even true. yes you can hold right trigger to block, but it is a weak block. you have to block high or low with face buttons in order to actually block all damage. using a weak block will still cause you to take damage, and lose stamina. infact, you CAN be rocked while weak blocking, so it doesnt even stop you from getting knocked out. if all you do is weak block all fight, it will be a short fight indeed.
this is an artificially low score.... the fighting is excellent, and the graphics are excellent.... that is all you need from a game like this. i dont really know what people expect when a game like street fighter 4 gets a 9 and all it has is a basic arcade mode and online multiplayer. that is what this game has, and it only gets a 5?
